My car has been having starting issues and the alternator tested ok and I thought I needed a new battery. I prefer interstate, so I go to this place…
They took my car around back right — where I could not see. I can only assume they didn’t test my battery prior to attempting to replace my battery. Meanwhile in the front the guy asked me if I wanted a refurbished battery (a what? NO) didn’t mention my car had 2 options. When he gave me a price, I was like what? they charge for installation… luckily I was able to have them stop. Sorry, I am not paying to have a battery installed. I had previously bought batteries at other Interstate All Battery Centers and was never charged an installation fee.
SO, I went to another location the next day. Right away told me I have 2 options, had me drive around back. First thing the guy did was proceed to tested my battery charge and the water inside, right in front of me — showed me everything was still good, explained he would replace it if I really wanted them to — but told me it certainly it is not necessary & recommended if I wanted to be preventative I should come back next year for a replacement.

Love this place. Had my battery installed here although inconvient hrs Mon– Friday 9– 5. What happens if u dont get outta work till 5 then there traffic there no way I’ll get there. I wish expand there hrs to like 6 or 7 like the banks do now! Like other said call ahead to see if you have what looking for. The location I go to is in Skokie Il. alot closer to Chicago I believe distrubuter location.

Went yesterday and they weren’t able to get a battery installed in my jeep. Called today and was able to get the battery installed. The guys were very courteous and professional. They answered all questions and had the battery installed within ten minutes. Prices are reasonable. I’d recommend them because of no B.S. and the prompt service. Call first to see if they have your battery in stock. They also have other types of batteries (i.e. cell phones, regular batteries, etc.).
