Lake Zurich EyeCare

Don’t trust this eye care facility with your insurance benefits. They keep your benefits as hostage so you cannot use your frame/​lens benefits in another eye care facility such as Lens Crafters. I have called them and they promised they would release the pre-​authorization on my benefits however as of today (7 days after their promise) they have not released my benefits yet. My insurance company (EyeMed) has also been trying to get them release my benefits to no avail.
This has been a waste of time for me and at a minimum seems an illegal and unethical act by this facility.

I love this office! Dr. Pouyat is very thorough and friendly; he is very professional but also interested in your life. The staff is timely and efficient and I have had a fantastic experience each time I have been. This past appointment I had my 3 month old with me and they were patient while I cared for her when she started crying during the preliminary exam. I even brought my husband with me this time and he is switching here because he was so happy with his experience as well.

Had a very thorough eye exam here! They actually care about the health of your eyes, as compared to the typical eye chain practices out there. I feel like my eyes are very well taken care of here! The doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and nice!

I’ve been a patient for about 8 – 9 years. The service and care is top-​notch. Dr. Pouyat and his team are very knowledgeable and personable. Also, they are very accommodating and willing to explain anything that you have a question about. I feel very well cared for at this practice.

I drive 40 minutes in order to go to Dr. Pouyat. That speaks for itself. The staff knows me when I come in. They are professional and caring. My appointments are on time and the dr sees me promptly. I have a good selection of frames when I need them.

This was my first checkup in a very long time and I’m glad I came here, they have all the latest and greatest equipment to ensure that my eyes are healthy, and they’re professional demeanor was fantastic! I was able to see the Doctor very quickly and he answered all of my questions and explained everything he was doing and why. Their choices of frames is pretty extensive and I’m pretty picky about that so I was pleasantly surprised they carried Ray Ban frames! Overall this was a great experience so far, I highly recommend you give them a call, I’ve already told several co-​workers to go here!

Lake Zurich EyeCare is a wonderful place to go for your optical needs. They have all the current state-​of-​the-​art technology to evaluate your eye health. The office is clean, tidy, and tastefully decorated. The staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend them.

I needed a new eye doctor because mine had moved away so I checked ones in my area who were highly recommended. Got an appointment quickly and was greeted by a friendly professional staff and a thorough examination. I don’t know that I’ve ever had better sight after leaving an optometrist’s office. Dr. Scott is awesome. Keep up the great work!

As with many things in life, you get what you pay for.
A couple of years ago, I thought I would save a few bucks and go to a local «discount» optical chain instead of my annual appointment with Dr. Scott Pouyat and Lake Zurich EyeCare.
Well, I saved a few bucks, but got a *quick and dirty* eye exam and a pair of glasses that were so cheaply made they didn’t last a year.
It was then I realized that my eyesight and the health of my eyes were too important to risk. So, the next year I went back to Lake Zurich EyeCare and haven’t gone anywhere else. I always receive a thorough eye exam and eye tests from Dr. Scott and his staff. The glasses they offer are top quality brands and are fitted properly.
But, best of all, Dr. Scott and all the folks who work for him are the nicest people to deal with.

So far this is the best Optometrist I ever encountered. The examination was quick and thorough. Everyone from the receptionist to the Doctor were friendly and cordial.
My appointment was on time without waiting (I hate waiting for Doctors to show up whenever they feel like). I was in and out with my prescribed contacts in my hand less than 40 minutes.
I also noticed on my way out that they carry a complete line of Maui Jim sun glasses. Will go back in couple days to purchase a pair, maybe two before returning to Naples.
I definitely recommend this office for all your optical needs.
