Northwest Community Healthcare Immediate Care – Lake Zurich

If I could give this place zero stars I would. My son fell on the play ground, hit his head and ended up having a minor head wound. It was bleeding and so I decided it would be better to get it looked at in case he needed stitches. Rather than go to the ER, I decided to go to the closest immediate care clinic which is this one. Big mistake. First it was a bit busy, not their fault but when we checked in, they didn’t even ask why we were here. They signed is in and told us to sit in the waiting room. They took everybody except him. I’m not sure if they understand the concept of triage. We are still waiting in the waiting area an hour later. Did I mention that my son is bleeding from the cut on his head? Yeah. I would consider leaving but who knows what the wait would be there. If I to do it again, I would have driven to the NCH immediate care in Schaumburg. They are much friendlier and I would say more competent.
So we are finally on an exam room and yes, we are now waiting to see a doctor. We have been here for OVER 2 HOURS!!! THIS IS NOT IMMEDIATE CARE!!! IF YOU ARE EVER CONSIDERING COMING TO THIS PLACE, DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T!!!
