Tech Nail 2

I’ve been to every nail salon in Lake Zurich and some even in the surrounding towns as well. I’m super picky with my nails and am almost never satisfied. (which is why I have been to so many different places!) I finally found this place and have been coming here for 2 – 3 years now. I won’t go anywhere else at this point. I have Lucy do my nails every time and she ALWAYS does an amazing job, and pretty quickly! I hate sitting there for a long time so I love that it only takes her about 30 minutes to do a gel fill for me, and she still does a great job! Over the years she’s done different shapes for me and they have always looked exactly how I asked for them to be done. She is super nice and very accommodating, she always tries to fit me in somehow, even if I call her at the last minute. I highly recommend her!

As a salon, I give this place 1 star. There is a nail salon on literally every corner in Lake Zurich, and I have tried them all. My first experience here was with Jenny and she was WONDERFUL! She did a great job on my nails, and was very friendly and personable. I had a no chip mani and pedi done that day. My second and last experience was AWFUL! I called on a friday early afternoon and somebody answered the phone with «HELLO!». Didn’t identify himself (or her with a deep voice, I couldn’t really tell), or the salon. Just «HELLO!» in a very rushed and rude manner. I said very nicely «Hi, I’m calling to see if Jenny is working». He said, «WHAT DO YOU NEED?!». I said again, «I’m calling to see if Jenny is working». He again responded with «I SAID WHAT DO YOU NEED?!?». I now realize that he was asking me what service I was calling to book with Jenny, but he didn’t even say «yes, she’s working, what do you need?». Even that would have been slightly rude, but I could have let it go. I was a little taken aback by his abrubt and rude tone, so I said «Excuse me, is this how you speak to your potential clients?». He goes «I DON’T HAVE TIME, I AM VERY BUSY!». I said to him, «that is no excuse to speak to people in such a manner and I am going to spread the word!». So here I am trying to spread the word! This guy was so rude and no matter how great Jenny was, I will not give this salon my business, and I hope you won’t either. Maybe in the future he will not be «VERY BUSY!». Wow, I am still in shock about his tone and rudeness. There are so many other choices in Lake Zurich, you should try either Coco Nails with the NICEST OWNERS, or Nail Circle by Wal-​Mart. They are a large salon and always are able to accomodate me. Thanks for reading!

I used to go weekly to Lucy and I was very satisfied with her manicures. I treated a friend to a mani-​pedi and we wanted to finish at the same time so I booked her with Tina, and myself with Lucy. My friend was very satisfied and Tina is ALWAYS nice but… Lucy would not speak to me the entire time I was getting my nails done! I was a frequent customer of hers! Because of her rude behavior I will NEVER return.

This is my second visit. Jenny is great. Had pedii and no chip manicure and today no chip mani. She takes time and excellent results. Best no chip that I have had.

I have been going to Tech Nail for years and I love it! Lucy is the best when it comes to gel and acrylics.

Ask for Lucy!
She does a great no chip that usually lasts more than three weeks! They keep getting more colors so there is a great variety.
I also get pedicures here. They really work to get all that dead stuff off my heels. My feet are so soft after!
