I’ve been taking the Tampa to West Palm Beach Train (3.5hrs) for 8+ years. You really can’t beat it for the price. $ 29 one way. $ 58 Round trip. It’s the same amount of time to drive there so why not save yourself the gas money and risk of danger driving. You can also upgrade to a «Viewliner Roomette for about $ 124 total, which I’ve done before and let me tell you there is nothing like having your own privacy with a couple bottles of wine to pass the time with a wonderful scenic view. I usually just hang out in the lounge cart to kill time if I’m just purchasing the simple ticket option. They serve a full bar and various snacks and meals. *You are allowed to bring your own food and drinks aboard which I highly recommend.
