Burger 21

I came here with a group of friends on a weeknight. This was our first time trying Burger 21. You order upon entering and there are several options to choose from. I ordered a medium rare burger and it was so juicy it made my bread soggy. It was still delicious and the fries were good as well. I don’t normally eat burgers but I’m glad we came here. The coolest thing about this place was their hand washing station by the door.

We love B21 and have been coming here since they opened. My favorite burger is the Cinco and the toasted marshmallow sauce is addictive for sure. (French fries become just a handy utensil to eat more sauce). The black and blue is also great.

Good burger choices with great sauce options. Their garden salad was also very good, much bigger than expected. I forget the name of the burger I got but it was the one with two patties. Definitely got my approval.

Saw this place had high reviews and decided to check it out. The fact that it was walking distance from my hotel in Lakeland and I didn’t feeling like dining alone in any of the restaurants close by (that don’t sell liquor) made it a no brainer. Especially since I love a good burger!
I ordered the Shroom burger to go with sweet potato fries and they were both super delicious. My burger was cooked to order perfectly and though the fries were very thin I liked them. The waitress was nice enough to pick a few dipping sauces for me although I still ended up dipping mostly in ketchup.
I also enjoyed sitting on the patio and sipping a beer while I waited for my food to be cooked. I will definitely visit Burger 21 again if I’m in the area.

Went to college up in Lakeland, and this was always the place we went when my family would come to visit. Nice variety of burgers, fries and shakes. Good stuff!

This place is delicious and the staff is super nice. Everything that I’ve had here has been excellent.

Great burger place in trendy part of Lakeland not far from LegoLand. Only knock is they’re good, so they’re usually pretty busy which means not a lot of room where you pre-​order and pay. But nice that they have beer on a hot day in Florida!

Some flavorful twists on burgers, shakes and fries – I liked my Greek-​style veggie burger. Fairly priced.

Went here for lunch with my coworker and I just love this place! So good and I was really full after I was done eating here!

Great burgers… all different kinds of options. I love the burger with blue cheese and also the one with onion rings and bacon on it. My wife is obsessed with the mushroom burger.
The fries are alright but the different sauce options certainly make up for it. Try the Thai ketchup with your fries, it’s my favorite. The other sauces are definitely unique and very tasteful too though.
The shakes are probably the best around… my favorite being the strawberry.
Service is alright, nothing spectacular. Not many smiles from the cashiers but the place is always clean. Prices are a little above average.

The burgers and shakes are great! The service is stuck up and they act as if you should know the menu. The location is awesome and the place is usually clean. The dining inside gets packed, on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday night there is no seating. I recommend to go on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Sunday evening. The prices are a little on the high side too.

Not the cheapest burgers around but IMO definitely the best… I LOVE the black and blue burger the best and if you are feeling really hungry add the extra patty and leave in pain… but very satisfied at the same time. Every time I’ve been here the experience has been the same.

This same burger joint failed in Scottsdale, but it survives here. It is a worthy survivor, especially when Lakeland lacks quality burger options. The ¹⁄₃ patty is a bit small, so when you add an extra patty it becomes a $ 10 burger. Pricey for most people, but justified to me if it’s that good. I give the burgers here a 3.5. Customer service rounded it up for me. I added an egg and avocado to my burger and the egg was forgotten. I let them know and I agreed to let them bring an egg out to add to my burger. Annoying. But the cashier was nice about it and gave me an unexpected free shake… mistake forgotten

Tried this restaurant for lunch today (Feb 10, 2016). the burgers were good, not worth the price. same old walk in and order, they bring it wh
en it’s ready service. The sweet potatoes fries were cut so small they were cold before the others cooled off enough to eat. my wife and I spent $ 20 for two burgers a half and half fry and one fountain drink.

Burger 21 is so delicious. The black bean burger is the best burger in the menu. Trust me. Throw caution to the wind and just try. It just might surprise you. I’ve had there beef burgers I just prefer the black bean.
Their chocolate shake should not be missed either.

I heard good things, but was very disappointed. Not only did we wait 35 minutes to get our burgers, but when we did, they were burnt, crumbly and dry. The chicken sandwich looks like something you could order at McDonalds.
They did have awesome shakes! I would come back for a shake only.

Incredibly delicious food! I don’t give out too many «five-​star» ratings but I just can’t think of any reason to do otherwise. The atmosphere is a modern/​classic diner mix and is definitely family friendly.
Burger 21 offers satisfying choices for the entire family. My son ordered the hot dog meal while I opted for their classic cheeseburger cooked medium-​rare. The burger itself was juicy and packed with flavor while the bun was obviously freshly baked in-​house and boasted a glossy brown look which was appealing to the eye.
The cheddar-​beer fries are a must! The shoe-​string french fries are perfectly cooked, presumably twice fried, but it is the beer-​cheddar sauce that takes the cake! The sauce is abundant in flavor with the mixtures of beer, cheddar, bacon, and green onions… I could drink this stuff!!!

Oh… my… God.
First time here, after researching best milkshakes and fries in town, and we found this peace of heaven! As a bonus, they have a wide variety of gluten free options and they just made my day with this part, they cook it in complete different equipment!!! No risk of cross contamination! Very helpful and friendly staff and clean environment. Will definitely be back! Try their Vanilla Bean shake it’s delish!!!

In town for business, wanted something quick and easy and came across this place out of all the other restaurants in the plaza.
Nice outdoor seating and indoor as well, decided to go with the Black and Bleu Burger (medium well) with sweet potato fries.

Order came out in about 5 mins, given it was not too busy. The burger was cooked exactly to order! The Bleu cheese was the perfect amount. The sweet potato fries were really thin but great too!
I will be back if ever in town again :)

This is anything other than a «burger joint» It’s a QSR who’s main focus is the contemporary burger lover. Though their Angus fresh meat burgers are great, it’s the other 50% of their menu that stands alone. They consist of many different seafood, veggie and hormone/​antibiotic free poultry burgers. On top of that, there’s the tenders, dogs and salads that they offer.
The Ahi burger I had was in a league of it’s own. Panko crusted sushi grade Ahi cooked to your liking served on a toasted whole wheat bun w/​sriracha aioli, caramel soy, let, tom, avocado and pickled cukes. Not only was it a good sized portion but add to that the non greasy thinly cut fries, great atmosphere, kicking back on the company’s largest patio w/​free Wi-​Fi and it was primo!
The sauce bar is a must with 10 different sauces and I had the apple/​cinnamon sauce for my fries. Not too sweet but it gave it the right amount of extra flavor. I was also in love with the first automatic hand wash lobby sink that I’ve seen. Just stick your hands down in it to get cleaned off. Very cool.
Props to the crew and management for being informative and helpful. I can’t wait until the newest addition is completed right in my home town.
