China Mei Wei Buffet

First impression given by the hostess was not great… not at all welcoming…
Food was the standard assortment at a Chinese buffet.
It all looks freshly prepared, and was kept at proper temperatures. And the nice thing is they aren’t afraid of using a little spice. The food actually had great flavor. No complaints on presentation, variety or taste here

This is being written as I experienced my recent visit. If I could rate lower than 1 star would. The food was old and most of the items were stale. The taste of the «meat» items resembled nothing of what they should taste like. Anything else looked like it sat there all day and was never changed out. Even the dessert (I had a small piece of tiramasu and a small cream puff) was awful and tasted old. The only thing that was not questionable was drinks. As I sit here I look at my plate, it’s almost full because i couldn’t stand to take another bite. I would say walk away from here but I’m going to urge you to turn away and run if you ever consider coming here. You have been warned.

Standard buffet sushi. Most of the food seems questionable. The salmon might be past it’s fresh date. Price for 2 adults came to 27.00 bucks. Very bad experience.

Great Chinese buffet where everything has been fresh time after time. Must have been 100 people here today and that’s the time to go to a Chinese buffet! Huge assortment. Family friendly. They even include sushi in the buffet (not in the take-​out though) Overall a great place to go as a couple or take the family. They accept coupons but not reservations. Don’t go to any Chinese buffet late at night and expect greatness folks. Been here 20 times in the last 3 — 4 years. To set the record straight, I’e never seen anything the bad reviews speak of. One of the best chinese buffets I have had in Florida. Wished it was a little cheaper I paid $ 9 a person at lunch. But otherwise good. Not too busy and had a koi pond in the lobby and a koi pond painting on the lobby window. I would go again and I would recommend for other people to try it.

6:00 pm on a Friday. Not busy, yet food looked old. I swear the sushi had been frozen and not yet thawed completely. Very limited selection compared to most buffets. Left disappointed.

I love this place. Never had a problem with the food or service. My only complaint is you can’t get sushi if your getting take-​out. My dad gets take-​out for him and my sister at least once a week. Great place for large groups.

A close friend of mine recently visited this buffet in which I had previously had a bad experience with. From the cold food, to the soggy egg rolls, to the poor customer service, this place practically made her cry. Even the salads were lacking… There were cucumbers and lettuce with no other ingredients. Even the ranch was watery and somewhat sour. The waitress asked how she was liking the food and my friend politely told the truth about how the majority of the food was unappealing, cold, and generally not good and she was having trouble finding something that was prepared correctly. The waitress then loudly started saying everyone else in the restaurant likes the food, offended. When she got the manager, he too was widely unhelpful, and insisted that no one has never complained about the food and that she was just trying to eat free. It was so embarrassing, even rendering her to tear point. She even walked the owner to the bar to point out the obvious lacking of quality. (Owner name– Steven Beverly) Since he stated that no one complains, she decided to take it into her own volition to ask other patrons how their experience was. After seeing her talking to others, he proceeded to make an embarrassing ordeal out of it, and kicked her out.
Absolutely awful food and customer service. Not recommended.
