I received a turkey tom with the produce stickers still on the tomatoes. It makes me question Jimmy Johns’ produce cleanliness. Also if I ever eat here again, I feel like I need to take apart my sandwich to make sure I’m not eating dirty stickers… Next time I’ll go to Subs’n’Such.

When I first started ordering from here my sub was always how I requested. Now it’s never as I requested. It’s always missing at least two things. Or if I ask for something to be «ez» it’s not. Why you do this to me jimmy johns? Looks like I’ll be finding somewhere else for quick lunches. :(

Business downtown must be really good and enough to sustain this location. I attempted to call in an order for one sandwich and was told, after holding, that I just to place my order in person. The employee on the phone took another minute to explain they are so fast that they don’t take phone orders for less than 3 sandwiches, rather than taking the order. I call to place an order to save MYSELF time and most people do I assume. Especially in area with limited parking. If a customer is spending their time, and in my case gas, to travel to your business please save the RUDENESS. I was pissed but went ahead and went there so I could check-in to prove I was there. First Check-in and LAST Check-In at this location!

Terrible service, the person on the other end of the line didn’t know anything about the sandwiches. Prices are way to high for poor quality… DONTWASTEYOURTIME go to Subway, Firehouse, or Publix!

For quick delivery jimmy johns is the place you wanna go I ordered it about a week or two ago they delivered my subs very fast as all the commercial states but the subs were laking in the meat dept I just felt like it was not even a normal portion for any other sub shops for that matter hope the next time I need a quick sub it is a better well put together sub

First and last time here. Roll was dry and hard and customer service was non-existent. There are plenty of other sandwich and sub shops in the area.

They won’t deliver more than a mile away from their location. Sandwiches are plain and customer service is a joke.

First time I’ve ever been to a Jimmy John’s. I’m a NJ transplant and we have some good hoagies up north(Primo’s ships! I should order some!), and have been looking around Florida for a good hoagie shop. Jimmy John’s isn’t too bad, but it’s kind of bland and nothing special. The size of the hoagie leaves a lot to be desired as well. I haven’t been back, even though it’s not that far of a drive(20 minutes or so). I see they are opening one near Deli Delicacies so I will have to try it again!

I like this place but tend to eat here later in the day. I’m not a fan of toasted subs so the untoasted variety served here is fine. Subway is my favorite franchise, but this is a nice convenient late night stop for mixing it up.

I give Jimmy John’s 4 stars based on the experience(5 stars) and the food(3 stars). If you work in downtown Lakeland and need to get lunch quickly, Jimmy John’s is your place. Their motto is «Subs so fast you’ll freak» and I believe that to be true. I was working approximately 4 miles from the Jimmy John’s location. From the time I submitted my order online to the time it was delivered, approximately 5 minutes passed. I know that it sounds unbelievable, but it is true. If you are trying to decide between franchise sub shops here is my list: *Firehouse Subs *Quizno’s *Subway *Jimmy John’s Jimmy John’s subs have little meat, few sides and the bread is hard(by design). JJ’s is not made your way, you actually have very few options. Ohh, and you can not get a hot sub which may be why they are at the bottom of my list.

Clean & new, this flashy neon lit sub shop beckons the hungry. Great corner location though street parking can be scarce and«bag people» at Munn Park are plentiful and sometimes pushy for hand outs(making the street tables uncomfortable). The order-taker is welcoming you before the door fully opens(too soon for me) and talking to you, making it hard to gaze for menu choices. The menu is overwhelmingly crowded but the choices are pretty traditional. You order at the front and pick up along the side where you also fill your own drink. Seating is booths or soda fountain-type tables. Great floor-to-ceiling window view on downtown. Plain subs(meat & cheese) are $ 3.50. 8″ subs with the standards are $ 4.50. Giant subs are $ 5.50. I ordered roast beef and provolone at $ 4.50. I was not happy with their French bread. It’s a harder crusted bread than Subway’s and they either scoop out the inside or flatten to make a «cup-like» hollow for the fixings. If I’m gonna enjoy white bread, I want it soft and«there» not just a vehicle to hold onto. They have an «unwich» if you want them to keep the bread. It’s the same price as with the bread. I didn’t see one. They also call it a «lettuce wrap». I asked for light on the mayo and got heavy mayo. The beef and cheese were delish. The meal was filling. I don’t like the sign’s implication that it’s «gourmet». This place is «standard” – lettuce, tomato, mayo, mustard. It even has a menu caveat that it’s not gourmet, they just liked the word and«don’t know what it means». You can choose alfalfa sprouts and cucumbers if you think that’s gourmet. Sides are chips, pickles or cookies. The décor is like a train or subway station, black with tan/red tiles. The take-out menu is hard to read black paper with white writing, the size of a postcard. Their calling card perhaps is that they deliver, 7 days a week, even one sub. This place is a franchise. Two of us could not locate napkins anywhere and had to be shown. One person complained the bathroom was a mess. Two stars is generous by my standards.
