Today I ordered a 12 in Dean Special all the way — mayo lettuce tomato onion pepper relish and a nice touch of fresh garlic served on french bread along with a side of potato salad and a jumbo sweet tea all for under $ 15. The sub was everything I hoped it would be. It was so yummy I couldn’t put it down so I didn’t even touch the potato salad, yes I’m admitting to eating the whole darn thing. LOL. The staff seemed friendly and they delivered to the lobby of my hotel in what felt like less than 30 minutes. Having this sub will be a priority of mine whenever I am near Lakeland. I can’t wait for my husband to try one. I’m shocked locals haven’t written a review. If you’re a local and haven’t had one of these yet… what are you waiting for! This review is for Subs ‘n Such Alamo Plaza, 4525 S Florida Ave, Lakeland, FL33813.

My husband and I stopped here on our way to Okeechobee. Wanted something quick. The bread is awesome, I had the Italian on wheat, very delicious. My husband got the chicken bacon ranch on white and he loved it. Would definitely stop here again.

I was lost looking for a place to eat during my visit to Lakeland. My GPS was sending me in circles through 15 mph neighborhoods. As I was turning around in a parking lot, I found Subs n Such. A nice lady came out the back door to take my order in the drive thru. I asked her what vegetables were on the veggie sub and she said ‘all of them, like pickles, cucumbers, carrots, green olives, black olives, lettuce, tomato, beets, garlic.” There may have even been a few more. On Wednesdays there is a wrap special that includes a free(huge) beverage. My wrap was awesome. All of the fresh veggies blended very nicely together. I’m not sure I could ever find this place again, but I would highly recommend it to whomever does!

50% of my visits to this stand alone shack in the middle of the parking lot near FedEx Kinko’s have been NOT good. Ask for VERYLITE mustard and get a slimey quarter cup. Roast beef is pretty tasteless. Sometimes bread is soft, sometimes crusty. Onions too strong. Cheese missing. Pepsi products. ew. Today I got an Italian foot long $ 9. Asked to cut it in thirds instead of half to share among 3. So they cut it in 4, making it more of an appetizer for us, wondering how to subdivide the fourth piece. Not rocket science, ya have to listen. Sorry doesn’t cut it. Meat is fresh, I’ll give them that. But odds are never good I’ll get what I’m hoping for. and Subway has a great $ 5 footlong.
