I made an apt here for my kitten who is 6 months to get her spay surgery done. Very simple surgery that was VERY messed up. I picked up my kitten gatto on wed from TLC vet and brought her home they said her surgery went great and she did great, When I got home and examined her I noticed she was a little red. By Friday she was bleeding a little bit and that worried me so I called them and explained that and they said oh that’s normal she asks me if its a lot of blood I said no just a little bit. She said if you feel like its bad or if it bleeds any more u can bring her in tomorrow but we don’t have our surgeon here so all we would be able to do is glue her. That’s a red flag right there! I noticed a couple hours later that Gatto was swollen and oozing a clear liquid so I called them back and explained that and they said the clear liquid is normal as long as its not a lot and she asked how swollen she was I said pretty swollen and she said well that normal if you feel like its bad bring her in tomorrow and we can take a look at her. If I tell you my cat is bleeding swollen and oozing you better never tell me again that that is normal! Any vet in the world would of said that isn’t normal and she needs medical attention. So after the second phone call I was checking it every 10 minutes and contemplated on taking her to a near by animal hospital. When I checked her she had a little cyst coming through her incision line and I wasn’t sure why and I knew it wasn’t good. My mom walked in the door and I explained the symptoms I was seeing and I told her to take a look at her incision something is not right! It had been maybe three mins since I checked it and my mom went to go look and her FATTYTISSUE was oozing out of her poor little body. I frantically put gauze and band aid over to hold it in and brought her to the near by hospital and we walked in a min before they closed. The doc said her small intestines is coming out and we need to do emergency surgery. It looks like a bad suture job like it wasn’t done right the first time. I had him take pictures from beginning to the end of the emergency surgery and pictures confirm the TLCVET surgeon did a batch job… so my Gatto is still in the hospital it is now sunday and she cant be picked up until tomorrow possibly still want to make sure she doesn’t catch an infection which is deadly to cats. Moral of my story don’t ever go to TLCVET!!! They almost killed my baby kitten. Never have I heard of something like this EVER! Who ever the surgeon was should have their liscense taken away and never work on another animal again.
