Walgreens

I really like this Walgreens. Walgreens as a store is pretty over-​priced, but that’s not what I like. I really like the employees here. Especially the pharmacy staff! They are knowledgeable and very helpful. They are also patient and kind. Example: today my doctor prescribed 2 meds one was right under $ 300 the other almost $ 450 both for 1 month. There was no way that was happening. I was asking about generics, alternatives etc. She told me not to worry about it and she would call the doctor and work out a plan with her that I could afford. To me… THATS ABOVE AND BEYOND! I appreciate the help so much, no other Walgreens I’ve been to has every compared! Thanks guys!

We have made the switch to this Pharmacy permanently from Mchenry. They are so helpful and show respect towards everyone. What a great group of people there. It’s very sad to see they have a crappy manager. Hopefully Walgreens Corp. reads these reviews. Everyone deserves respect.

I live in Lakemoor and I’m so thrilled to have a Walgreens in town, there’s nothing around us so having Walgreens for things I forget to buy is amazing. If my review was just based off of the pharmacy and the photo department I would give it 5 stars hands down, they are all so quick and friendly it’s hard to find anything to not be thrilled with. This location is very modern and super clean. The reason for my 3 stars is that on MULTIPLE occasions I’ve heard the manager (Amanda, I heard one of the employees call her) is absolutely horrible to all of the employees. If a customer is hearing this all the time I think there is a serious problem. She clearly has no respect for the workers there and talks down to them for clearly no reason. The way she talked to the photo person when the computer was freezing up was insane, and she was so pissed that the employee called her up there for help, Hmmmmmm I’m sorry isn’t that your job? My friends have had the same experiences that I jave had with this manager and have stopped frequenting this Walgreens because of it. Have respect for your great employees! Its really, not that hard, this girl is clearly not meant for management and needs to get off of her high horse.
