Goodyear Tires Mackey Tire Center

I had an appointment with Mackey Tire center to get my alignment done and had explained to them that I have had extensive modifications done to my car and that I would prefer not to have anyone test drive the car as it is very particular on how to operate. On the phone they said no problem
When I got down there it was a different story and I decided to go ahead and let him pull it in but he wanted to pull it around to the back of the shop. well he started trying to force the stick shift to get it to go in to reverse rather then rev matching to let it go into gear then when I told him you have to give it a little gas he over revved it then I see him go to drive it down a steep incline along the side of their shop with no regard to my lowered car!
I stopped him just in time and told him my car is lowered and would scrape badly if I hadn’t stopped him .He in return gets out of my car and without saying anything to me he walks in to the office and told rick to get me out of there. I followed behind and rick told me to take it some where else and not to come back.
well I will gladly never go back and I have told many people now in this small community about it and will continue to warn people of this place that treated me badly.
There is a great place just down the street that works on race cars and daily drivers that doesn’t appear as nice a place from an eyes view but never judge a book by its cover. They got me in right away and their prices are good and the people are professional and nice.

Traveling through with our trailer, our new tire was very low. Pulled in, they looked at it right away, they changed the valve stem & sent us on our way… they were SO nice, urge any one in the Lakeport area that needs tire service to see these guys.

Recommended for alignment and I can say it is well worth it! The strong-​arm sales technique used by the owner was kinda sleazy, and what’s worse is he tried to slip me another tire model than the one I’d already ordered from Discount Tire in Santa Rosa. I’d heard this was typical behavior from the auto repair shop owner who recommended them for alignment, so I shut him down pretty quickly. I’d heard of the owner talking to a perspective customer in another venue and then calling the person s few days later to tell them their tires were in, guilting them to buy them when they hadn’t given the go-​ahead to order them. Once again, the alignment was shot-​on target and done quickly.

This place was recommended by the tow truck driver the first time I got a flat in Lake County. The tire was damaged and needed to be replaced, but they didn’t try to sell me a pair like some places do. Another time, they fixed a Michelin CrossTerrain SUV tire with a plug in record time.
And just last week I got a flat with the Yaris. They looked at it and showed me the tire, which showed some wear inside. They could have talked me into replacing it entirely, but instead they fixed it and mounted it for 24 bucks.
They are friendly, professional and always happy to give me a quote when I need new tires.

The 3 years I lived in this area this was the best place to go for tires, oil changes and all automotive work. They took good care of both of my vehicles and always gave me a excellent price on tires.
