You’ll see that I’ve posted pics of myself wearing a 1960’s Hawaiian Tiki dress, a vintage straw hat, and a 70’s striped dress — all purchased in one trip to the Meals on Wheels Thrift Store.
Two other things I bought that day I don’t have pics of, but appreciate: a 1960’s one piece paisley print bathing suit; and 1950’s copper (very modern design) dangle earrings.
I think I spent less than $ 20 on everything – the two vintage dresses and the 1960’s straw hat that I’ve posted pics of, and the swimsuit and the earrings. I truly think of this store as thrift store heaven now.
