Good burgers but somewhat sloppy to eat. Fries are good but you MUST tell them to make sure that they are hot or I guarantee you they will be lukewarm at best.

Love everything about this place! Food is great, love all the servers and Brandy is the best bartender around! Great patio, if you’re looking for a little less noise. Try the Lake Erie dry rub on their wings!!! Crazy good!

Service tonight was absolutely horrible! Cold food! Drinks were like kook aid… waited for Manager… never came. Second time in a row… never again!

The hostesses are horrible. We called before our arrival on Sunday night to put our name in and was told they don’t do that anymore. Once we got to the restaurant it clearly states on the board that they do call-​ahead seating. When asked why we were told on the phone that that wasn’t the case one of hostesses (a crotchety grandma-​type figure) rudely said you are only able to call ahead when there was a wait. Doesn’t make much sense when there was a 40-​minute wait for a table in the bar area. Meanwhile, there were 3 large tables available with no one sitting at them for 10 minutes. Love this place and the food is always great, but get new hostesses for a more enjoyable experience.

Love this place! We go up to the lake a lot. And this is one place we will always stop for a drink and lunch. The view is great and every staff member I speak to there is always so nice! And normally I would not say get the potato chips, but get the potato chips and BACON RANCH! You had me at Bacon and had me at Ranch! No complains on Cleats! All the meals I have had here are good! Nothing to fancy but good food and very clean place.

We went on a Friday evening, place was packed, had about 20 minute wait. We ordered the spinach artichoke dip as an appetizer, OMG it was fantastic!!! Best I’ve ever had!!! Then we had chicken wings and loaded fries which were pretty good. Our waitress was pleasant. Went back Sunday morning for breakfast. They have a limited menu but it was good too!

The only reason this place has 2 stars from me is because the view. The food is disgusting, the place is filthy and the staff is very unfriendly. If you want a view of the lake head down the road to hidden beach bar and skip this place.

My first time here. Lunch time. Ordered off the «specials» menu Fish sandwich server ask if I wanted cod or perch. I got perch. Waited about 30 minutes for food. Fries were cold and fish was warm and full of bones. Waited another 30 minutes for check. Over charged me because I ordered perch. Very slow service and food was awful. Do not recommend this place. Great view but service and food awful.

Pretty view, great food and good service. Transient docks and dog friendly when the patio is open. We will be back!

This is a must stop… steak tacos are so wonderful, beer is ice cold, food is good, staff is busy but friendly. This is a place to relax at and not be in a hurry. Views are awesome, 2 patios outside or a big bar inside with big windows the overlook the water and boats. We try to stop every weekend during the warmer months, never had a bad meal here and never wait long for a beer refill. Place is a great way to unwind after a long week.

Came here on a Saturday night and it was super busy. Sat at the bar for awhile and got some drinks. This is the type of place where middle-​aged people go to act like college kids again. They sell buckets of beer and the place is loud and busy. If it’s nice outside, I’d recommend it, as it’s probably quieter.
You’re not going to get top-​notch service or selection here, but if you’re thirsty and hungry, it will do. They make the potato chips and fries in-​house and those are rather tasty, albeit greasy. I settled on fish tacos, as it’s one of the few non-​fried items on the menu. They had just the right amount of kick to them. Others in our party got the santa fe wrap and turkey club, both of which were very sizable portions.
I’d return for drinks outside if I was in the area again.

Very good menu and food. We sat on the back patio which was such a beautiful view on Labor Day.

Visited twice and both times the service was horrible, staff was rude and indifferent and the food took forever to arrive. The second visit, waited over an hour for food and server forgot our drink orders twice (only two drinks too). On both visits it took 15 minutes before a server even came over to our table to greet us. When we summoned someone over, she acted as if we’d asked her to move the world. The hostess is rude and pushy. I sat in the bar waiting for a table to become available and she came up to me and said «I need this table so you have to move» and before I could even pick up my friend’s drink and my own and the buzzer thingy (as he was in the restroom at the time), she came back with the people who were going to be using my table. So inconsiderate and tactless and uncomfortable. I mean, where do they get the people who work there? It’s like they all go out of their way to be as unhelpful as they can. And the place is filthy. We walked through the bar to get outside and the floor of the galley where the bartenders work was strewn with trash, food and liquid. You can only imagine what the kitchen looks like if the parts that show look that bad. I will never go back. What a nasty experience all around.

Just finished eating the worst meal I have ever had. This is the first time I have reviewed a restaurant ! Our waitress was great but the food was awful! I had fish tacos and they were so spicy thot I could not finish. My husband had six pepper philly sandwich he could not finish!!! Granddaughter had chicken nuggets and cold fries. Awful!!!

Great patio! Perfect view! Great place to grab wings and a drink!!! The food can take awhile, but it really is a huge restaurant. We ordered the nachos while waiting and they were so big, by the time our food got there, we were almost full!!! Highly recommend the wings! Yummmm!

Great place day or night to grab some food and drinks. The views are unbelievable and they are having great live music all summer long. I definitely recommend the blackened fish tacos and buffalo chicken flat bread. Of course you could never go wrong with their wings either! When I think of summer, I think of the patio at cleats… Always a solid experience!

As a tourist I know that my opinion is not valuable to locals. However as a tourist this is the best sports bar that I’ve seen in a 15 square-​mile area. We came here to watch the Blackhawks game and the bar is huge the drinks are cheap and the food is good enough. Service left a lot to be desired, but for some reason on Friday night they only had one bartender on for seventy plus people so I understand why the service wasn’t that great.
I fish walleye for 4 days every may in Port Clinton, I will come to cleats every trip!

Bad service. Waited 45 minutes to get our food. When we asked about our order was told «we are a big restraunt». What the heck. I doubt we will be going back. Food was not that good. Had a salad that had no taste

Nice bar food, good service. Huge portions for the price. Has two nice decks. Lots of families there and there is a decent kids menu. I had a Reuben and it was enough for two. Great tasty thin sliced corned beef, thin sliced a d piled high. Bring your appetite!
