Kids on Third Street

Selection:
Kids on Third Street has a fabulous selection. They’ve gone out of their way to stock their store with creative open-​ended toys, unusual pretend play items, and delightful décor. Their selection isn’t huge; for example, there aren’t a lot of block sets (I have a thing for wooden toys). But I was told that they are expanding their inventory in 2008 and I really look forward to it.
Price:
Prices are quite reasonable. I haven’t come across anything that is ridiculously overpriced. In generally, I can rarely find items for more than a dollar less on Amazon, but Amazon offers free shipping, which makes a huge difference when ordering online. Shopping in store, the prices are quite competitive. There are also a few items I have found here cheaper than anywhere else. Be sure to check out their sale section!
Customer service:
I was disappointed that my Christmas 2007 order took a week just to be processed with no notice of the delay. That meant it didn’t arrive in time. They were quite apologetic about it. In addition, I had one order that was filled incorrectly and they were fabulous about sending the replacement item. The customer service is top notch!
I have ordered from here multiple times.
