This store serves a small town, so it’s naturally a small store… but as a long-time fan of both small towns and health food, I have seen lots of stores do a great job in a small space. This one has limitations, but they’re obviously related to the population of the area. It’s impossible to stock fresh vegetables, for instance – much less organic – because of the loss on the shelf. The only small store I saw that could more or less successfully do this was in a town of about a hundred thousand. The stock here is pretty comprehensive, focusing on supplements and non-perishable items. And I think the people who work there are kind, helpful, and thorough. The owner is conscientious and informative, and that’s as good as it gets. I hope this puts a counterbalance on the other review here that offers up a single complaint as a picture of the entire operation. I’ve been there several times and always was treated with the utmost of respect and courtesy. I only give it four stars because it would take fresh organic vegetables to make it a five, in my opinion, but I think this is completely out of the owner’s control. They have to make money in order to survive and I’d rather they do that than expand their stock beyond their ability to sustain the losses that would come with it.

I spent more than $ 300 at this store buying food, vitamins, face lotion, ect. The introvert of an owner has seen me in her shop at least five times. The other day I went in her shop to purchase recycled paper towel but instead accidentally grabbed toilet paper. When I went to exchange the toilet paper for paper towel I was refused because I did not have my receipt. The owner was the one that sold me my every purchase. It is obvious the owner does not care about customer service nor has she ever been personable. If you need green items or vitamins go to another shop on the mountain because this shop does not care about you. I am proof.
