We came here for lunch with some friends who had been there before. Very nice décor, good service and outstanding sandwiches! We each had something different and the food was very good.

So my uncle brought me to the bistro because his son Justin owns the place along with his wife heather. I had a glass of Pinot noir with the green chili pork stew which was delicious along with this huge sandwich just stacked high with a lot of meat. My mom and I split that sandwich so it was super filling and delicious.

My wife and I always have a terrific experience when we dine at Annie’s. The chicken salad sandwich is our personal favorite, however we have never been dissatisfied with any item on the menu we have chosen. If you are fortunate enough to dine at Annie’s when the coconut pound cake is an option, you must try it. It is amazing! We will be back again soon.

Three ladies who part of my Dining Trio(comprised of Gary and I) met while hiking on a Pinetop trail highly recommended we visit here after our hike. Armed with a hearty appetite after 6 or so miles of hiking, we were ready to try the Bistro at Annie’s. They spoke highly of the food and the ambiance — said it was a great place to hang out, eat, sip on a beverage and chat. And we were so glad we took their advice! The restaurant has indoor and outdoor dining, all based in and around an older house converted into restaurant. Nervous about looming dark thunderheads, we sat on the patio under this HUGE umbrella, that fits 2 – 3 tables under its shade and shelter. The patio dining is surrounded by shade trees and aspens, and plantings. I was amused by the clever metal bed frame planting on the front entrance side. Trees surround the restaurant. The Bistro at Annie’s has a really nice ambiance! As it was lunch time, we ordered and shared the sandwich special and an entrée salad. Both were good-sized portions, and very tasty and fresh. I got gluten-free bread for the sandwich — very happy to have that option. My mango iced tea accompanied it. It was a tough choice, as they had some other good iced tea flavors, including prickly pear. We didn’t do dessert as we were full, but they had very tempting choices including one gluten-free chocolate dessert option. The service was outstanding: professional, informed, and very attentive, especially given its laid back feel. I was very impressed — and sorry I had not discovered this place on earlier visits. Annie’s will definitely be on my «must go» list for future Pinetop visits!

Great food! However, the charm of this place is the setting. Bistro is perfect place to enjoy the broad terrace tucked away from traffic and shaded by the regions indigenous ponderosa pines with a green grassy area. It is definitely become my standard go to place when if I pass through Pinetop Lakeside.

We’ve tried almost all the restaurants in Pinetop-Lakeside over the years and this is our very favorite lunch place. Food is imaginative, always fresh, and well prepared, priced fairly, and the people working there have been friendly and attentive. We’ve been there at least a dozen times and have never had a bad experience like several of the reviews I read here. That’s what prompted me to write. If you don’t try it, you’ll be missing something you will most likely think is wonderful!

This place is wonderful. Great atmosphere, friendly attentive servers, delicious food. We have gone in the winter and sat in the cozy dining room and also in the summer to dine on their dog friendly patio(the server offered to bring our pooch a bowl of water). They have a kid menu with peanut butter«play dough» that is served with a rolling pin and cookie cutters — too cute(and good — my husband and I ate half of it!). Really this is the best lunch spot in town. We’ve had their soups, quiches, paninis, and salads and have been pleased with everything we have ordered.

Waitress(middle aged woman, dark hair, low rise jeans) acted«put out» when asked to repeat the many special items and soup for the day. Sandwiches ordered at 1:03 pm. Sandwiches delivered to our table at 1:55pm. Almost an hour to make sandwiches? Ice tea glasses sat empty for at least 10 minutes. Waitresses walked by our table at least 5 times, not looking at us waving her on. Sandwiches were good, soup was good, salad was warm. Watched 2 couples walk out upset due to no service at their table. If this restaurant is going to succeed, better and more efficient help must be obtained.

Love this place. Very cute cottage style setting. Had turkey sandwich, they use real turkey, not processed turkey. Excellant potatoe cheese soup. Chicken tarragon sandwich well seasoned, not a lot of mayo which is how we like it. Tried chocolate cream pie, very good. All homemade! Will return.

Their sandwiches are HUGE and delicious! Salads are wonderful, especially the Thailand salad. The ambiance is great and the service friendly. I highly recommend.
