Caribou Coffee

I miss caribou coffee, so I came back for my fix. The coffee, dark roast was great as usual, but my cup was leaking. …:(

Ordered a chicken apple sandwich, drove away and apparently I’m eating sausage today.

Idk about these other reviews. I come here 1 – 2 times a week, I love the customer service, everyone is always polite and willing to help. NEVER had a problem, everything was always fast, and got everything I ordered.

A scene from Caribou Coffee — 1:30 pm on Saturday. No line in front to me and only two customers sitting at tables.
Me: «Hello, I’d like a medium sized cup of dark roast coffee please»
Her: «Oh, I’m sorry, we are out of dark roast.»
Me: «Really? OK, I’ll take a medium sized regular roast»
She fills up half the cup and then picks up the huge coffee container and tips it to try to get the sludge from the bottom out
Her: «Um, I’m out of medium roast right now but I’m brewing another pot. It will be ready in 28 minutes»
Me: «28 minutes? To brew coffee? No, just fill the rest with light roast»
Her: «We are out of light roast»
The lady standing next to me that hasn’t ordered yet: «Well what DO you have?»
Her: «We do have any of the espresso drinks, smoothies or any drinks that don’t include coffee»
Me: «Just give me the cup»
Her: «But it’s not full»
Me: «Yes, but you can’t fill it, right?»
Her: «No, not with coffee»
Me: «Give me the cup. It’s my own fault, I should have never come into a coffee shop and expected them to have coffee. I’ll check the smoothie shop next door.»
No apology, no refund, no discount and only a ½ a cup of coffee. At a coffee shop. In the middle of the day.
How in the hell do you run out of coffee at A COFFEE SHOP?

This caribou is great! All the employees are very friendly. This is the best caribou that I have ever been in. The coffee is great!

Of all the Caribou Coffee shops around, my wife and I had to step in this one. This review is for this location only. This place stinks! Figuratively speaking of course. My weak and warm, NOT HOT coffee was served to us by a young gal with as much personality as the bottom of my shoe. I also wasn’t all that jazzed with all the grounds at the bottom of my cup. Shame on me. Next time I’ll drive out of my way for Starbucks or better yet, Dunn Bros.

The only that was good about that place was the drinks. Otherwise, the service SUCKED. The lady at the register was very snooty and snobbish to me and my mom. She was nice to everyone else, but she was rude. This middle aged lady with the short brown hair is quite rude! I asked her for a cover, and she threw it at me. Not handing it to me nicely. Just throwing it. If you hate rude employees, DON’T GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!

Decent Caribou, it’s hard to review them because there’s so many around here, but no complaints and I’m a fan as usual. The people at this location are friendly and the service is quick!

Cozy spot in winter with a nice fireplace. Parking can be difficult. Friendly staff.
