Perkins

Had some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced here tonight, our waiter (I won’t say her name) took our order and brought us back our waters. I unknowingly had a little piece of paper fall into my water cup and as she was refilling it she told me there was a something in it, and so she reached her hand into my water cup, took it out, refilled my water and walked away. I was absolutely disgusted. Then once our food came (it took much longer than it should have for how few people were in there) I received my Caleb’s breakfast club, (I believe it was called) which I had ordered with no bacon, no mayo and no tomato, but had bacon on it (I know, I know I’m one of the few people who seems to hate bacon) as I was eating the second half of my sandwich, I bit into a piece of toothpick that was in my sandwich (keep in mind that they put toothpicks in each half of the sandwich to keep them together, that wasn’t what I found in my sandwich, it was a toothpick that had been broken in half) of course our waiter didn’t come around for probably 10 minutes, and when she did I told her about the water, and the sandwich and she replies with «well what do you want me to do?» She must have told all of her coworkers about the incident too, because they were giving my boyfriend, my friend and I dirty looks. Then when we went to go pay for our meals, the lady had taken my meal off and accidentally gave my boyfriends meal a discount so I paid, then when my friend went to pay she got the extra charge that was supposed to be for my meal and when she asked the cashier if she would take what my friend didn’t actually owe off, she told her that it had already been finalized and that if she needed the $ 2 back I should give it to her. Really? Extremely poor customer service.

Waited 25 minutes before even getting talked to while sitting at the table. Never been to a Perkins that has ignored me for that long. Hadn’t even been offered water. So I left. Disgusted with the service here.

Perkins is a regional chain restaurant, yes it is true. Sure, mom and pop places are great but Perkins has a pretty good menu and they are always changing things up. They serve up decent food at reasonable prices. This location has always had great servers and the kitchen gets the food out quickly. My wife and I had a great breakfast for $ 5 each !

Slow service for not a very full restaurant. Did not get my pancakes with my meal for quite some time after the rest of our food came. Also bummed that they changed their menu so that you only get one side with your omelet now.

I really like Perkins and eat at the chain regularly. Skip this one if your hungry. It’s been nearly an hour and our food is not here yet. Complained to the manager and he didn’t seem to care.

Although the Apple Valley Perkins Restaurant is much closer, I always come to this one instead. Clean, bright, and friendly staff. All I can say is, if I’ve ever had questionable service here, it definitely wasn’t memorable.
