Flowers by Nancy, too!

Donna was a HUGE help in getting me my flowers for my wedding. She worked with me to stay in my budget and was able to give me exactly what I had envisioned! My bouquet was beautiful, as were all of our corsages and boutonnieres.

My daughter just received a birthday arrangement, and it was just beautiful! Not only looked great but smelled wonderful!!! Only complaint is that we were not home all day, so it was left on the front porch and got a bit wilted in our 100 degree Texas heat. That was a bit of a bummer, but possibly the sender requested it be left on the porch.

Ordered again this year even though I said I wouldnt ever again. Must say, they knocked it out of the park this time! Sad to see all these other reviews echoing the same thing that happened to me last year, still happening to others a year later. I can’t speak to that, all i can say is they did a very good job this time after i relayed to them my experience last year and begged for it not to happen this year. Completely feel as if i got my money’s worth this year for sure. We are now 1 and 1. Would I try them again? Yes, yes i will

No Stars for Flowers by Nancy.
I love to purchase Yellow Roses for my wife for special occasions, simply because she is my Yellow Rose of Texas. This year was exceptionally special, after a long period of care taking for my wife’s folks during their years of decline, we’ve lost both of my wife’s parents over the past couple of months.
With all that my wife has done to provide care for her folks as well as helping me through the past few years of my back surgeries & convalescence money has been tight, as a result I haven’t been able to provide her with the goodies that she’s always deserved as often as I used to.
With this past Valentine’s Day on the Horizon I started squirreling a little money away months ago to do something special for her like I used to do in the past.
Today I when I picked the flowers up I was
taken aback by their appearance and mentioned it to whom ever it was that was assisting me. She assured me that they were fine and just needed water… the reason for them not adding water was because «they knew» that I had a distance to travel.
The place looked like no florist shop I’d ever seen before, everything was in disarray, flower petals on the floor and the general aura that chaos reigned.
After I got the flowers home and watered them within a couple of hours they’ve dropped an unbelievable amount of petals and the ones remaining on the stem have turned brown on the edges.
Never in my life have I seen such poor quality from a florist. I’ve ways viewed florists with the same level of trust as a jeweler, you pay a quality price for the expectation of a quality product.
It’s my opinion that Nancy’s Floral wouldn’t
know quality if it walked into their «Unkept Shop» and bit the owner square on the Ass.

My adult children ordered an arrangement from this florist for Mother’s Day. When it arrived, I knew the arrangement couldn’t possibly be what they ordered. It was basically greenery and three shriveled up orchids embedded in the small arrangement. It was horrible. On Monday I was at their door at 9AM with the arrangement and a photo from their web site of what the arrangement was supposed to look like. They tried to get me to take home a sad looking plant in exchange. When I told them I wanted a quality arrangement delivered that day, they assured me they would take care of it. However, there was no apology for sending what they did — even though one sales clerk did say– I don’t know his this got sent out. They did send a new arrangement that afternoon. However– I believe they figured this was a longdistance order and they could charge whatever they wanted for a poor quality arrangement and no one would be the wiser. I have told my children never to order from them again !

I have used this flower shop for professional and personal use in the past. The arrangements were always beautiful and the deliveries were always on-​time. I am very picky about companies I use when delivering goods/​services to my clients, but I never worry with Donna and her staff. I know the arrangement will be on-​time and high end. As a frequent customer, I have never encountered any problems. Go local and don’t order your arrangement through a website and you see much better results. Takes a little bit more time, but working with their friendly staff makes up for that.

They always do such a nice job! The flowers I have received are always incredibly beautiful and a huge hit! And they last for such a long time afterwards too! I would absolutely recommend Flowers by Nancy to any and all!

I have received quite a few arrangements from Flowers by Nancy and they are always beautiful !! They put a smile on my face every time I walk past them and they make my house smell wonderful. Thank you for brightening my day Flowers by Nancy!

I ordered through their website, I would not recommend this approach. I called them later that day to confirm the order. I was surprised to hear that they never received it since I had their number on the receipt I printed out. They were able to get the order out later that day.
Here’s the kicker, two days later I got an alert from my CC company (same card I used on their website) saying I had a charge of over $ 1000 dollars on the card. Their website says its secure but I disagree.

I was a recipient of the flowers in this scenario, so I didn’t actually deal much with Flowers by Nancy. Our friend sent us flowers through them, and the arrangement was beautiful, no problems with delivery. However, when we thanked our friend for the flowers and described them to her, she was upset because they were not the specific flowers she ordered. She called them back and complained. I got a call yesterday from the flower shop saying that they were going to drop off some more flowers and «pick up some others.» Confused, I asked what he meant by that. He said that he was just going to swap them out. «OK,» I said, «But we’ve gotten a lot of flowers in the past week. If the flowers are old, we probably already threw them out.» The deliver man showed up and gave me another flower arrangement. He then pointed at the old arrangement on my table from the flower shop and said he had been instructed to pick up the ceramic pot it had come in. A little confused, I handed it over to him and he took it and left.
It seems kind of silly/​tacky to take back the ceramic pot on an incorrect arrangement. I understand not wanting to sustain a loss on an order, but it was the flower shop’s mistake in the first place. I’ve just never heard of a flower shop coming to pick up the pot from a flower arrangement delivery, as if it were a «flower arrangement rental» or something. I won’t be ordering any flowers from this shop.

My daughter arranged with this shop for Mother’s Day flowers, long distance, and they did a lovely job.
