I’ve made the realization that retail is stupid and that I can afford much nicer brands if I shop at Goodwill, I moved here from Naperville, Illinois whose Goodwill is way above par with amazing selections and low prices. Dresses hover mostly at the 5 $ mark, t shirts 2.99, shorts and skirts 3.99. I shopped at the lakeway Goodwill yesterday and they had a 30 $ used dress(yes it was cute but NO I will never pay that) This is a greedy goodwill and I may still occasionally purchase something but not NEAR as much as I would if they were to lower their prices. Also keep in mind that if you get a designer piece in and it has new tags, letting someone buy it with a low tag, that is the kind of diamond in the hay stack that keeps people coming back. The manager in Naperville listened when I told him that and that’s why he has one of the top Goodwills. Also your survey site is down so thus the Unilocal rant instead of filling out your survey.

I’m gunna pop some taggggs! So Goodwill is my guilty pleasure. My main objective walking in is finding something for $ 4 and being able to sell it for $ 40! BOOOYAH! It is an exhilarating feeling… and I usually find an awesome tshirt I don’t need also. Goodwill does not come without a few gripes… why do they put so many strange appliances out that obviously have missing parts? I’m worried that people buy these, waste money, and then end up throwing them out. For the most part, people are shopping here because they don’t have $$$. Another little gripe… are there any assurances that scabies are NOT in the clothes? I always get nervous about this… and if I purchase clothing, they stay wrapped up tight until I get home and can wash them in hot water and then dry them in a hot dryer. I think Goodwill should have UV sterilization, or something, and then posted in the store what steps they take to keep it clean. Agree? Goooooood!!! This is a very organized store… it is not cluttered like many Goodwills, but I think you pay a bit more for items due to the fact that it isn’t cluttered. If you are digging through bins, chances are items weren’t looked at as closely, and you have a better chance of finding a good deal. I’m also always curious what the smell is exactly… its not a bad smell, and its not a good smell… whats the deal!!! GOOOOODWIILLLLLL!!!
