Goodwill

This store is so over priced it is ridiculous! Items that are sold at Walmart for 1.00 BRAND NEW are here (used) for 1.00−3.00! I have seen some items I’ve donated with price tags WELL ABOVE what I feel they are worth. What gives? This should be a place where people get a GOOD DEAL. IF you are looking for a good deal, do not go to this Lakeway location.

Staff is very nice and friendly, but this store location is WAY overpriced considered everything is donated and used. Shoes for $ 15 that are dirty and used? No thanks!
Keep in mind… everything is donated and free to them. If it is used and not in good condition, you might rethink how you price things.

Very nice staff. We made 2 trips with much stuff to donate, very helpful and friendly staff. Unloaded our car quickly and presented the tax receipt.

One of the better Goodwill locations I have visited. Pretty large store, SUPER organized, and friendly and helpful staff.
If shopping, you never know what you are going to come across — a great place to spend some time treasure hunting. Home goods, accessories, but mostly clothing and shoes — especially huge selection for women. Racks and racks of clothes, including items from Target to Banana Republic, many new with tags — all blouses a whopping 8 bucks; and rows and rows of shoes, Nine West and even Vera Wang, unworn and sold at the same price as the other more «broken in» ones.
Donating is a breeze. Simply drive around the back of the store and there is a huge bay door open (during business hours) with an attendant available to eagerly unload your vehicle for you and he/​she will provide you with a tax receipt.
All around, never had a bad experience at this Goodwill. Happy to have one in Lakeway.
TIP: They do not accept ceiling fans or light fixtures as donations.

This is the best goodwill I’ve ever been in lots of nice stuff we nickname Gucci goodwill Ha

This was an ok location. Never really saw any staff bothering to go out of their way to help us or any of the other customers. They had an ok variety of furniture. Still can’t find what we’re looking for, but my low stars aren’t for the variety it’s for the customer service.

Today at 11am I encountered a very rude staff member handling drop off service.
He was middle aged and a pretty grumpy fellow. He was pushy that I unload my own vehicle and into what bins to put the items it
But that’s not the kicker what I witnessed him do with this small framed gal was upsetting
She pulled a very heavy bag out of her car and the guy told her that she needed to lift it up into a big bin when she told them it was too heavy he then was very rude to her
I can’t believe what I witnessed it’s one thing for somebody to have compassion and be generous enough to drop off good items but they should not be treated rudely for it
