I felt inclined to post an update. I opted to remove my review altogether, but decided that it was important to show that although we had a poor experience, the manager, John, went above and beyond to acknowledge and address our concerns, and more importantly, to compensate us for experience. I think in this day and age, it’s very easy to sweep the public’s reviews under the rug, or mask it with reviews that are polar opposite to real reviews just to ensure that there is a fair rating on Unilocal.I want to state that our concerns were addressed directly and immediately upon sending an email and for that, Lakeway Inn has earned another opportunity to make our next stay a more pleasant one. Thank you Lakeway Inn for having the integrity to turn a negative experience into a positive one.
