The first reviewer really hit the nail on the head here! I was very upset to see this place closed down by the state due to a toddler being injured here. It wasn’t abuse or anything like that but in order to maintain such affordable rates I think the staff just had too many children to look after and missed noticing important things like a toddler pulling on a crockpot plug! Most of the teachers seemed fine but too many children to give much individual care to each. My daughter got sick almost immediately and noticed another child’s bottle in her cubby. Her resulting stomach issues required way more diaper changes which staff were mostly unable to accommodate. They tried somewhat but simply too many children to be reasonable. The staff were nice and they were trying but as the first reviewer noted so accurately, they are not still open a yeR after her review. State of CO closed them down.

As a former preschool teacher myself(at a different facility) and a former client of this establishment, I would recommend against sending your child here. I have had to take numerous complaints to the director and even the owner, after nothing was done to remedy the situation. I have personally witnessed the classrooms being over ratio, children being taken to a gym that is not licensed for the little ones, sugary foods and snacks that are not acceptable in state funded programs being given to the children on far too many occasions. I have had requests to NOT give my daughter cookies and cupcakes forgotten or ignored. On one occasion, after several reminders were given, I noticed that the snack(apple crisp) had been partially scratched out in different color pen by someone other than her teacher and the word crisp was replaced with«slices». Which would have been believable if it had not been for the cinnamon sugar she got on her shirt from the snack she actually ate(the crisp). I picked up my daughter on more than one occasion with poop still on her bottom and a lovely rash from it being there for multiple hours. The director needs an attitude adjustment, I don’t think I have ever seen her smile, but some of the teachers are really great. Anastasia and Ember are wonderful, Jordan is great, Ms. Colette always took good care of my daughter, but my daughter had 3 different teachers in a matter of 2 weeks and the one they kept around(though she is very nice) I don’t trust to teach my child. And don’t get me started on the playground. There was a free week of childcare promotion that was unclear and when I planned our family vacation I asked, 2 weeks in advance, for someone to call me… Nobody ever did. I really had high hopes for this place and wanted to support a local business. I would be surprised if they are still licensed by the end of next year. I hope they make the necessary changes and stay in business, but for now, don’t sacrifice good care for cost and convenience.
