Vrrrooom! Thank you so much for not taking advantage of because I am a woman! After getting a quote from a place down north, I was a little shocked at the price I received from just a scratched up, slight crack on my bumper. I have had my new Jetta GLI autobahn for less than a year, so when I found that someone hit my car and left damage, I was so upset. But for minor damage, I thought I was getting raped for the cost. I had also had several of my other vehicles there to service, but no more. In comes Apex… The great reviews on Unilocal brought me here.
I didn’t have to make an Appointment for a small estimate on my car. And they were extremely professional and very forthcoming with what it would cost to repair it. Randy told me it would be around 2 to 3 days to remove the bumper completely (fix the crack and paint it yada yada yada) but to my surprise they called me the next day to pick it up. It was ready and absolutely beautiful. You cannot tell there was any damage done, and it looks brand new again. All the people I have encountered at Apex were professional and so nice. The front receptionist (I think Lisa) is super sweet and attentive. She will set up a rental car if you need one while yours is being repaired! Thanks Randy and team! will be recommending your auto body shop to everyone, especially my friends with the German cars. Satisfied customer and I hope not to see you guys anytime soon! Vroooooom!!!

These guys are great! Super friendly, extremely helpful, and never once condescending! Ask for a quote on some labor I needed to help install and Randy couldn’t of been more helpful and understanding!!! I’m so happy to know of a honest and great mechanic since I just moved from Austin!!! Thank you!!!

I met the owners through a mutual friend about 5 years ago and since then I have used Apex multiple times myself and have sent everyone I know to them.
They charge a fair price, do great work, treat me well, and are great with communication.

Please consider these guys for your next repair job. The front bumper of my 98 Subaru was hanging off and, previous to Apex, I checked with 3 other repair shops, all of whom said it would need to be replaced, and one of whom didn’t identify the headlamp as being cracked and also needing replacement. Within minutes, Randy identified that the bumper could be salvaged – saving me hundreds – as well as the headlamp. He gave me the lowest quote, and you know what that means! Or do you? The repairs took exactly as long as they estimated, and the final cost – spot on. They were courteous throughout as well. An entirely satisfactory experience.

It’s hard for me to review this place! Here’s why; I came here to get a factory accessory added to my car! I didn’t want to pay the exorbitant amount the dealership wanted to charge me so I shopped around.
Randy stated that they don’t normally do that because their a auto body ‘repair’ shop. Not really a place to add body accessories. He stressed that if it was a body kit it’d be a no go, but since its a VW genuine body accessory they’ll make an exception.
Not only that Randy gave me a killer price because he was feeling generous that day. I mean he under cut the dealerships price by $ 650!!!
He showed me some serious customer service that day.
Now for the bad and why I give it two stars…
The install was bad!
I went back and they attempted to fix it by painting it but that just made it worse in time.
I went back again and they had no choice but to touch up the paint. Like the first time the paint started cracking and flaking off. Making it look bad.
I went back again a little more frustrated than I’ve ever been. They needed the car for at least a day he said. Fine, came back and it look like they just painted it again but he said they made some adjustments and it should be good.
Well about one month later I noticed my bumper was loose! WTF!
At this point I was done dealing with them. I took t somewhere else and they «righted» all the wrongs that Apex did to my car.
I blame myself, the signs were there. He said this isn’t normally what they do, I paid a crazy good price (get what you pay for) and at the end of the day I can’t recommend them.
My experience wasn’t the best but that doesn’t mean this place isn’t good. My review is based on my experience alone and doesn’t reflect the companies general performance. Take it with a grain of salt.

I met the owners Randy and Dave about 10 years ago when my truck got vandalized. I am pretty neurotic when it comes to my vehicles, but they did an awesome job. So far they have fixed 4 of my cars to date (through no fault of my own, lol)…They’ve kept happy over the years with great work…

I understand that everyone makes mistakes and sometimes crap happens, I’m a reasonable person and gave them a chance to make it all right. It doesn’t change the fact that when I did call to tell him I needed a tow hitch cover and the other various items fixed, I was expecting him to acknowledge the mistakes and make them right. What I didn’t tell you before was that Randy actually laughed at me when I told him there was paint on my back window and that there were crumbs in my backseat and told me that «mistakes happen» and his guys don’t speak English (to read the warning lights on the car). If he had resolved the issue without laughing at me and making excuses then I’m sure I would have been a satisfied customer.
The $ 10 in gas money he gave me did not make up for his lack of customer service to begin with. I’m so glad you all have had better experiences than me.

I have had Apex do body and paint work on multiple cars, and have always been very happy by the quality of their work and the time taken to complete the job.
Highly recommended.

I am surprised at the first review.
I own a 1982 Porsche 911SC. Dave and Randy did an outstanding job of putting my car back on the road after being in a barn for 6 years. I did not recognize the car when they gave it back to me; it was absolutely beautiful. They came in under budget and sooner than expected.
They then introduced me to a Porsche shop «Storz» that did some engine work for me; once again, on time under budget.
I have since recommended APEX Auto Body to my friends and acquaintances. I will keep recommending them.
They are certainly 5 stars in my book.
