I driven by this place many times on my way home from work so I thought I would give it a try the place is a seedy feel but not unlike any other dive bar you might visit. I went on a Monday night where they have 50 Cent wings I ordered them with a beer and enjoyed them. Some of the weird things came in the play when they had a dog that belong to the owner just walking around the bar, The dog came up against the counter and was begging for food. I came to have a relaxing time about not hang out at someone else’s house. The jukebox play music with people paid for songs but otherwise the place with eerily silent there wasn’t too many people there on a Monday night so patrons were forced to go pay to break the silence. I ordered two beers during my visit but I was charge for three. Being absolutely sure I brought this to the attention of the bartender who proceeded to make an argument out of it. For three bucks she really added to the negative experience I had at my visit to the bonfire tavern. The food is all right but you can do better elsewhere with a much better environment.

Walked in for the first time last week, just needed a drink to clear my head… it had just the right vibe for what I needed; yes, it was the middle of a weekday and just a few regulars were there but they all seemed cool, the bartender was friendly and made a strong drink, twofers I might add… She put some tunes on the box and for as young as she was had excellent taste in music, when asked she said some influence came from her mom who was my age… That hurt, but looking forward to my next visit… Place seemed friendly, clean. A little divey but that’s a good thing, great tunes on the box and warm staff that make strong drinks. What more do you need?

I enjoyed my visit here. Every drink I ordered came out perfect. No pre-mixes were used. The food selection is diverse and there appears to be little to nothing on the menu that comes straight out of a microwave. Staff is friendly and welcoming. I have a second home here.

Stopped in on a Sunday afternoon while in the area. Had never been in before, and was pleasantly surprised! When we first walked in we were invited to have a plate of a free lunch buffet they had going on. We were also told about the free raffle for the football jersey they were giving away at the end of the game. The staff was awesome, made us feel warm and welcome, and gave us a bit of history about the place. The customers there were also friendly and explained how everyone in the place was like family. They had several TVs, a pool table, a ping-pong table in the back, a stage where I am assuming they sometimes have live music, and a food menu with several choices of items. Will definitely be back to this awesome little dive bar again soon!

Decent vibe. Nice staff. I didn’t know they served food until I was ready to leave. Great prices on drinks, though nothing was on special despite it being a slow night. I’d be happy to stop in again if near, but not sure if I would go out of my way to visit.

This place is really growing on me as a fun little dive to stop by and have a good time. Based on conversations there with the usual crowd they are under new ownership and it is getting cleaned up quite a bit from where it had been before. The drinks are really cheap and the bar tenders are really nice and quick. This is a nice hidden gem in the area and hopefully keeps improving to get more people.

Great Joint. Never went in under the«old régime» but as of the time of this review it has been open under new management little over a week. Now run by a real nice southern belle and her husband. Best pulled pork sandwiches ive ever had and touchdown shots during broncos games along with a buffet. Great drink specials, if you live in the area, great atmosphere!
