1st visit and we really liked it! I had a pork burrito bowl and H had a chicken burrito. I liked my bowl better than chipotle’s. Prices seemed very fair and honestly, even better than fast food junk.

I love love love the food here but the Service I received tonight was below average. The boy behind the counter had no idea what he was doing and it took him 30 minutes to get through two orders. My food was hardly filled and was cold by the time I paid for it.

The food was once again great! Although being a popular lunch spot, there was about a 5 minute wait before getting helped(but worth the wait). What was surprising was the way the male staff member who was on duty Aaron(by the name on my receipt), treated the other staff. He spent more time complaining about stuff that should have been done last night then making sure the line of customers flowed smoothly. He was rude to his coworkers and if I had not already paid for my food, I would have left. A good job is hard to find in the service industry and this guy needs to realize that.

1 star– for the two gals I interacted with who were very pleasant & nice to talk to. Here goes… I’ve passed by this place a few times & have always been intrigued by the name. So I thought I’d review it on Unilocal.Yesterday, I finally bit the bullet as I was craving a burrito something serious & there was not a Chipotle close to me. While the gals working at the time gave prompt service & were truly great to talk to, I left the place beyond disappointed… As I exited the establishment, I felt my burrito was cold. I thought, it may just be from the guacamole. So I took a bite. & it was DISGUSTING! The steak was cold & dry, & the rest of the ingredients tasted OLD. I literally threw it away in the closest trash bin after ONEBITE. It was the WORST burrito I have EVER had! It’s hard not to please me when it comes to Mexican food as it’s my fave so for me to throw this away. The place MUST be horrible. It was THEWORST $ 12BURRITO I HAVEEVERHAD! Don’t come here. Ps/sorry to those two girls. No offense to them. They were very very nice

Food was okay. Had steak quesadilla. Steak was chewy, but plentiful. Cheese was okay and lots of it. The place itself is on somewhat of a identity crisis with several cultural influences fighting for your attention. Owner was there. Guy is a little over enthused and was pandering to whomever walked in. I noticed hom talk to his staff in a pretty condescending way which was off putting. All in all, okay food. Weird vibe…

This is a great place. We both had the trash can taco. I couldn’t finish mine but the husband ate his like a trash can monster. Everything you would get in a typical burrito bowl topped with nacho cheese and Doritos. The food is fresh and great quality. This place is also military friendly giving a discount to service members. Easy to get to location next to Lakewood Town Center. Try it you will be hooked. It’s not a chain support the small businesses in your area.

I’ve been to this restaurant about five or six times now and each visit has been a colossal train wreck. First of all, business hours imply that you are ready for customers but almost every time I’ve been here they’ve been running late or have their open sign on with no meat or no rice or some other issues as a result of their poor planning. What I hate about this restaurant is that rather than making good food and having good service they rely on burritos being a trendy food choice. The food is mediocre at best. It’s the equivalent of what I imagine eating a freezer burnt chipotle burrito would taste like; edible, but it leaves you thinking of all of the better burritos you could be eating. Additionally the options are fewer than other restaurants of its kind and it is EXTREMELY overpriced for what you actually end up getting. $ 30 for 3 moderately sized burritos isn’t a bargain, it’s robbery. One of my coworkers loves the fact that they sell queso, but for $ 3 I can get a jar of queso at the grocery that will last me a long time, meanwhile at burrito temple $ 1 gets you a tablespoon at max. The pico de gallo is bland, the salsa verde tastes like watered down lime juice with cilantro mixed in, and the corn salsa is most definitely from a can. The service is sub par. These poor girls working are either a) trying their best to be nice and recover from the eminent mistakes of the restaurant or b) condescending, stuck up, brats. Working in the food industry requires a little bit of patience and oh, I don’t know, CUSTOMERSERVICE. If you can’t provide one or the other perhaps working in a fast food restaurant isn’t the right career choice for you. The owner is obnoxious and there is no way I can emphasize in this review the degree of his ignorance. When I walked in today I was greeted with a very loud exclamation of how much he despises people’s races(specifically f*** this race and f*** that race) and how the slogan of burrito temple should be, racists welcome. Then when he noticed we were at the counter happily asked if we had heard his rant and proceeded to repeat all of the slanderous things he said. Throughout my whole time there he was hounding me about liking them on Facebook and writing a review on Unilocal,so here is your review sir. Perhaps if you didn’t act like such a pretentious asshole the review would have been kinder.

What an incredibly fresh option! Located just up the street from the i5 and central to everything you ever need, it’s the perfect place to grab quick yet honestly fresh food for lunch or dinner, on the go. If you like fresh and healthy portions than the Temple is a place you need to go. I tell all my friends about this place because it’s good quality and the customer service is usually bar none, the best. I will say for all the vegetarians or vegans out there, this is a veg friendly place. Their is tofu on the menu. And for all my Tapatio lovers, they will suffocate your food with it if you want!

First impression this place is very clean with nice décor. The employee that helped us seamed very nice and professional. there food is made fresh every day so that’s a win and the best part for me is I can watch it being made they also are very interactive as far as asking what you want and don’t seam to judge by my huge burrito orders so that’s great. Over all I would recommend this place if your in the mood for some quick good Mexican food!

I ate here once and had horrible disgusting food. First off the inside of the store looks absolutely tacky and tasteless. I ordered a steak burrito, which had absolutely no flavor. The steak was dry as dirt and had no flavor. It also had a lot of tough tendons still on the steak which was not appetizing. The rice they put in it was dry and tasted day old. This place is a disgrace and a slap in the face to Mexican food. Never EVER will I set foot in the place in my life time. If they had an option for a zero star rating, that’s what I would pick. For those whole rated this place and actually said positive things about the food are high as f***, but then again I would eat anything if I was high on something

Me and hubby came here to satisfy our burrito cravings we were having. The place was easy to find and parking was a good amount of spaces. We got inside and was greeted with a smile and«hi» by two ladies behind the counter. They ended being very nice and great customer service. We had never been here so we weren’t sure how to order. We looked at a menu that is located directly below the counter where you place your order. But then one of the ladies said when we are ready, we can mark our orders on this lamanent(spell check) card, and I thought that was cool. The idea of the restaurant is reminiscent of Chipotle. The lady that made our burritos forgot to make the tacos, but it was no big deal as we were in no rush and she apologized for forgetting them in the order. I got a chicken burrito with lots on it on a wheat tortilla, hubby got a steak burrito with lots on it on a white tortilla. It was amazing… fresh ingredients and fresh tasting meat! We also got steak tacos on flour tortillas and they were absolutely delicious as well! We got home and was so full that we had leftovers for the next morning. Now that’s my kinda place! I will definitely be returning!

Solid choice for a Chipotle like burrito! Clean ingredients within reason. Highly recommend the stake with fajita toppings. We optioned for the chips and drink and the chips come with a side of pico and queso. Friendly service and while it wasn’t quick it was accurate and thoughtful. I will come back for sure when a burrito craving strikes! Thanks! I do wish they had some specials though that could get a meal to fall in at around $ 7.99 — $ 8.50 price range. It’s quality food though so it’s not that huge of a deal!

Burrito Temple is much like a Qudoba or a Chipotle experience. You pick what dining option you would like and they build your burrito or what have you in front of you with various choices to make. For this kind of fare the food was not bad. All of the ingredients were fresh and my burrito was flavorful. The place was clean and the staff was friendly so no complaints at all. Not a bad place to duck into during lunch hour if it’s not too busy.

The owner or manager who was hanging out in the shop is an arrogant asshole. My fiancé and is a bodybuilder and was told that he «goes to the gym too much» which was followed by this guy’s life story about how he used to be a fitness model and competitor and then gained and lost a hundred pounds… before we could even order. His ranting about the unhealthiness of the competitive fitness industry continued at dizzying pace until we walked out the door. He was rude and judgmental and didn’t fail to include that he recognized my fiancé but not me because he tries not to look at women because it’s disrespectful. Apparently this guy has no self control and no «internal issues» as he claims all bodybuilders have, dispite his two heart attacks. The food was great, the girl behind the counter was great. They use fresh ingredients, great! We will never be back to Burrito Temple or Indy Sandwich Company(as much as we have enjoyed the food and the all female staff’s good customer service). We don’t push our lifestyle on others and we never asked for his opinion. We just wanted a nice Sunday cheat meal! Unfortunately it was hard to enjoy due to intolerance and verbal diarrhea.

My daughter was so excited to finally visit this place after driving past for months. The décor is really nice and so were the workers. The problem I had was with the skimpy portions. I ordered veggie tacos. They give you 2 corn tortillas per taco, one will suffice. But, they give you what appears to be, 1.5 tablespoons of rice and 1 tablespoon of beans per taco. The girl was using her(gloved) fingers to scrape the smallest amount of toppings off the spoon. I thought it was ridiculous. The flavor was lackluster and doesn’t compare to Chipotle. The ingredients were fresh though. I’ll give them that much. I don’t think I will EVER frequent this place again. It was a complete waste of money.

I come here and to the sandwich shop ! Sandwich shop is amazing. Anyways I only put two stars because my son and I just left the gym and I only had my Amex on me. Before we even started I had asked if they accepted it.(I have a starving two year old with me lol always hungry) the girl informed they did take Amex so I put my order in for two chkn burritos and a taco for my son. After taking 15 minutes to make I go to check our and another girl says sorry we don’t take Amex and I told her I had asked before even having to wait and she just says sorry and told me to go to the bank and I just laughed. Shocking that they wouldn’t just give me the couple burritos for wasting My time when they were at fault.
