The fact that Unilocal requires you to give one star is the only reason one appears in this review. Dr. Bottenbley was not only incredibly rude to his staff but to patients as well. If you have any other choice in where you receive dental treatment choose elsewhere. He is just a sad, sorry man who clearly has power and control issues which translate to horrible people skills. Zero stars, not recommended. Ever.

I got my wisdom teeth removed from Dr. Bottenbley. The original intake appointment went really well, and he was very knowledgeable. The procedure went really well despite poor bedside manners from Dr. Bottenbley. Later in the day that I had the procedure I ended up having a poor reaction to the sedatives that I received and ended up fainting, which required stitches, and now I have 3 ugly scars on my face from it. I went in a few days after the procedure because the pain was horrible and I suspected dry sockets. The appointment was very easy to schedule and I got in right away. When I went in, Dr. Bottenbley was very rude and not empathetic at all to the fact that I was in horrible pain and now had stitches in my face over the ordeal. He was extremely rude about it, and made me feel like an idiot because I had forgotten to disclose to him that I take sleeping pills on a very irregular basis(a few times per year). I took one on the day of the procedure, which is very likely why I fainted. I almost left his office in tears by the way he treated me during that appointment. A few days later, I showed up for the stitches removal to find nobody was at the office and it was locked. I called Dr. Bottenbleys phone with no answer. Then, I finally got through and found that they wrote the wrong time on my appointment card. Extremely frustrating to say the last. Dr. Bottenbley never called back to apologize, would have made a huge difference. I am extremely reasonable and understand that things happen sometimes, so an apology from him would have helped. Last words, Dr. Bottenbley is a very competent doctor, but has extremely poor bedside manners and people skills. Bedside manners are a staple to a good doctor in my book. Office staff need to improve their organization. You should be able to get through to them during business hours.

thoughtful, detailed, and caring. that is how i describe Dr. Bottenbley and his excellent staff. While I hope to never need another tooth extracted, if I do I will go back to Dr. B and his staff, with or without insurance.
