The reason to go here in my opinion is the shakes and frys! Amazing!!! The burger was not super special. But the corn dog my husband ordered was really good. Def will go back :-) besides supporting a family owned business is always better

The bleu cheese bacon burger is the best tasting than any other I’ve tried. You definitely beat out the East coast and South regarding taste. Oh and the cherry marshmallow shake is da bomb!

Five stars. I’m rating the quality and the taste. As Jules would say, «mmm that is a tasty burger.» Overall I’d give the place four, maybe four and a half. I do have some small critiques but tasty food is not among them. These are hot, fresh, greasy burgers built anyway you like… coupled with great fries or onion rings. and handmade shakes in all sorts of flavors (think classic Fosters Freeze from the 40 years ago) it’s about as good a burger joint as you’re going to find. Plus the store itself is nice and clean. service is friendly an quick, Great place to sit out on the benches and enjoy a sunny day. My only complaint is perceived value… They’re either a little pricey or a little small. I know… I know. quality costs a little more. and I agree. but when you unwrap your burger you cant help but do a mental comparison with the bigger burgers at competing stores. Then once you experience the greasy deliciousness you really wish it was bigger. I recently stopped with my kid and got couple signature cheeseburgers, some fries and a couple shakes and dropped $ 25. Ultimately worth it. but either $ 20 or a 25% larger burger would have left me with an even better taste in my mouth (if that’s even possible). but seriously, as a consumer I think about driving over pretty regularly but stop cause I know it’s going to be expensive. I, for one, would eat there a lot more often if they were bigger or cheaper (a bit). if you do like a good burger his is a must try. Dont forget to get a tasty beverage to wash it down with.

Meh. The food is ok.
Tried a couple of the burgers and they’re basically about the same quality as Dick’s and similar flavor. I suppose one plus they have over Dick’s is different burger variety and customization. The big plus for Dick’s is the fast service because of the small menu and the price. I could go either way here, but I feel like Dick’s has the edge on price and speed. The chili dog was a huge mess. I couldn’t find the dog/​bun at all under all the heap of stuff on top. Its flavor too was just ok. Definitely not worth $ 7. The annoyance of too much stuff on top didn’t help my opinion on it either.
The staff was excellent. Very nice, patient and helpful. For the price, I’d rather go to Herfy’s down the street though.
All in all, it’s ok. It might be more appealing if it was super fast and slightly cheaper.

First things first, great customer service. They were helpful, polite, inquired about our meal. That was a nice touch. However, the food is very expensive for what you get. The cheeseburger was good, but not great. Kind of bland. Tomatoes were not ripe, and very hard, which really is more a personal thing for picky tomato eaters. French fries were good… and the milkshakes were beyond delicious! Worth a try but not worth 30.00 for cheeseburgers and fries.

Went there for the first time and had a cheeseburger and fries was ok but way overpriced. I won’t be back.

This place isn’t cheap. It isn’t fast food. You are going to pay a premium for quality ingredients. I paid $ 12 for a deluxe cheeseburger, fries and a banana milk shake. The cheese is real (Tillamook). My burger even had two pieces of tomato. I could actually see the real banana in my milkshake. (It wasn’t some canned nonsense.) They have heaters in the covered seating area. The only thing that would make it better would be a whole wheat bun.

This is a small family owned business. Went there for lunch and it was well worth the trip. The staff are very friendly and personable, the burgers are juicy and yummo! I had a hot fudge sundae with my burger and my tummy was very satisfied. The milkshake variety looks awesome and I might have to try one with my next visit. It also looks like a good place for when the weather is warmer, plenty of outdoor seating.

Had the chicken ranch, skittles shake, and a blue cheese burger! Food was so good, and the service was awesome as well =)

Food is actually pretty good but it’s overpriced and the service leaves much to be desired.

Super disappointed after I showed up at 7:55 WITH the Open sign on. All I wanted was chili cheese fries. The guy at the window wanted to help, but the lady in the back yelled,“tell her we’re closed!” He said we close at 8 everyday. Great! How about you turn off your sign OR put some fries in a basket with chili and send me on my way. Customer service is a huge thing for me so I won’t be going back because they didn’t FEEL like accommodating me. Food is delicious, but over priced.

Great food! Great service!!! Great sweet tea! And that’s saying something coming from someone who is accustom to souther sweet tea! Worth the stop food is great hot fresh fries are amazing!

Went here with my roommate thinking it was gonna be good, by the looks of the place itself and the service we received it wasn’t up to par what I was expecting, food was good but felt like we didn’t get our money’s worth left disappointed and still hungry. Overall disappointed.

Just want to update my last review. In my last review I said I’d give this place four stars but was giving it 5 to bump up the overall rating. Now that I’ve had other local burger stand burgers (Frisco’s, Best Burgers, etc.) I can say with confidence that Delong’s is my favorite and worthy of the 5-​star rating. It’s so good I crave it! I go back and forth between the Deluxe burger, Old Fashioned, and their spicy jalapeño burger. I want to try their hot dogs and chili dogs, but I can’t pass up a burger! Why go to Carl’s Jr. or McDonalds when for just a tiny bit more money you can enjoy your food!!!

I did an online order for my office today for lunch. A couple of chicken baskets, sliders, garlic fries and milkshakes… I’ve avoided this place since it opened because of the reviews, but they seemed to be getting better and they were offering 40% off with your first online order, so I figured, «how bad can it be for this price?» :/
Chicken strips were ok, average. Fries are great. GARLIC fries, not so much. Please don’t just dump minced garlic out of a jar onto my fries and call it $ 3.99…:(There’s mustard all over the outside of my slider package… it really does look bad…
The shakes were good, I can appreciate the pineapple bits on my shake.
I run a small business daily and I know first hand that customer service is KEY. I was provided a time to pick up the order, I arrived at that time, my order wasn’t ready. Somewhat understandable seeing that it was lunch time. Someone arrived AFTER me and said he had JUST ordered online and was told that it would be a few minutes, he said that he didn’t want to wait. He was helped first and received his order BEFORE me, not acceptable. I feel like my order was bumped. Several walk up people were served before me. One couple left because they couldn’t get a straight answer as to how much a chilli dog meal was going to be… O_​o
My shakes were handed to me as she told me that my order would still be a few minutes… after I waited a while I asked if the shake that wasn’t for me could be remade, I was met with an attitude. What is my coworker going to do with a melted shake???
Please work on the customer service, it will be the death of your business if you don’t because the food is just really average.

I gave this 5 stars because 1. It’s awesome and 2. There are too many haters out there trying to bring the rating down. This is NOT Red Robin or Kid Valley. This is an old fashioned burger place with really good burgers. The people who say it’s overpriced need to get better paying jobs. Seriously, it’s not badly priced at all.
P. S. If you are a woman who’s on your period, please wait till you are done before you write your reviews. Actually, this goes out to you men too.

Over priced crappy American food that you get to eat out in the rain on a picnic table covered in bird feces.
Not very good service either and it takes forever to get your order taken let alone to get your food. There is only ONE window to order and pick up your food at… There’s always some customer standing in front of the ONE window, in the way… Not practical at all. Who wants to swat thru people to pick up what they purchased. Lines longer than Disneyland…
Not coming back here.
