Dog Walkin with Denise

I first met Denise when I was having surgery and needed in home care for my senior cat. She was excellent! I live in a back house, and she was conscientious enough to follow directions to come down the alley, rather than going through my landlords yard. She was also kind enough to pick up RXs for me until I could drive. She has since taken care of a couple of mostly feral cats for me, and I can tell you, they love her more than they love me! I have a tiny kitten now, and she has been wonderful at helping me know what to do for him. I think he’d rather live with her! There are not enough good things I can say about Denise and her services! I feel completely comfortable having her in my house and caring for any four legged child I ever have!

I have been taking my pets to Denise for quite a few years now. Excellent environment, clean well kept. Dogs have plenty of space to play. When my pets come home they behave better than they did when I dropped them of. When they stay over night or for more than a few days she communicates how they are doing, what they have been doing and how they are getting along with they other pets in her care. Highly recommend her services!!!

We really miss our four-​legged children when we have to go out of town, but I am 100% comfortable knowing that Denise (and her crew!) «get» our dogs, their personalities and quirks and let them be. Our dogs come home happy and exhausted (a tired dog is a well-​behaved dog!). We have to go away for short trips (a few days) and long trips (a few weeks) and we never worry when they are in Denise’s care!

We board our two Shih tzus with Denise whenever we need to be out of town. One is 14 years old, blind, hard of hearing and requires daily drops in her eyes. The other is a new, very active puppy. She treats and cares for them like her own and we never have to worry about them. We are always in communication with her through email or text messages. Her home and yard are safe and secure.
During their last visit our older dog required hands-​on care four times daily and Denise and Holly did not hesitate to take on those responsibilities. We could not have made the trip if not for their loving care. We have and would highly recommend her services for your four-​legged family member (s).

We have been taking our dog Luna to Dog Walkin with Denise for almost 4 years now. We started bringing Luna once a week to get a day where she could play with other dogs all day while my wife and I were at work. She absolutely loved her play days from the very beginning. She would know exactly when we turned the street where we were going and start getting all excited. This just goes to show how incredibly loved we knew she was when she was with Denise. Over the years Luna has gotten EXTREMELY comfortable at Denise’s and its like her second home now. When we go on trips and are unable to bring Luna, we know that she’ll feel right at home when she is at Denise’s. Denise is amazing at sending updates, and will text if she feels something is off with Luna. Its comforting to know that someone is really caring and watching our dog when we are out of town. Denise has also helped out in times of need and came to our rescue. We had taken our son unexpectedly to the hospital and called Denise to see if she could pick up Luna to stay with her as we did not know how long we would be in the hospital. Without any hesitation, she was there getting Luna to take her back to her house to stay while we were away. We would recommend Denise to EVERYONE that we know.

We were looking for a pet sitter to watch our dogs when we go out of town and found Denise on Unilocal.We took them to her house to see if we wanted them to stay there, or if we preferred to have someone stay at our house instead.
Turns out they love it at Denise’s house! So much, in fact, that we started taking them every week for the all day daycare. The drop off and pick up is really easy, and Denise is great about making sure there aren’t too many dogs at one time. The house and yard are always clean (fantastic considering I’ve seen dogs, including my own, scent mark the patio furniture) and the dogs have a great time.
We haven’t had to use the pet sitting yet, but are completely confident that when we need to, the dogs will be in good hands.

Denise is an amazing caretaker of our 4 legged babies!!! A friend of mine referred her to me and I have been pleased with her ever since. What I especially liked about her is that she loves what she does and it shows!!! Also she is very professional with the application process and making sure your pet is going to love it there. My husband and I left our 2 dogs with her for a whole week and never once felt we made the wrong decision. I loved how she would text and send pics of my babies! Made the separation much more bearable. I actually think when we went to pick them up they were sad to leave. Denise is also very responsible with doggie meds… my poor geriatric dog had a handful of meds and Denise made sure to get them all in her. I would highly recommend her to everyone who wants a home away from home type of feel for their furry friends.

Been meaning to write this. We took our dog to Denise three times. Each time i would receive texts from her telling my dog was crazy. When we went out of town the first time we left our dog, I get a text from Denise asking what she should do with my dog while she runs some errands. I would think if we leave the dog in her care, she would have this handled. We were at a wedding and not able to answer and when I saw the text I was concerned that she was not sure. She didnt seem to have a lot of experience with puppies. She said our dog was to playful and plays rough, which that is fine but she is a puppy and is learning. Denise could not understand this and could not understand why my dog when she was put in time out started to dig to get out when she saw the other dogs playing. There seemed to be no obedience or control of our dog who yes has energy but can be controlled with structure. We took her back to Petset and have not had any issues. Shes been to other caretakers and babysitters as well and yet no issues there.

I am so grateful that I found this place. The genuine love for the dogs from Denise, Holly and Jack is evident when you observe the interaction. I rescued a puppy a few months ago as a companion to my other day. It quickly became obvious that more supervision was required for the puppy with my busy work schedule.
I drop them off in the morning full of energy & receive two tired dogs in the evening. My evenings are so peaceful after a day at dog daycare. I especailly like the training reinforecment that they provide. Great service!

Denise is amazing. She went above and beyond all of my expectations when caring for my yellow lab. I highly recommend her and will definitely be using her service again in the future.

I can give this review ten stars if I could… I would recomend her to everyone that has a dog that needs daycare or boarding. She took great care of our boy Moxie (English Bulldog), very pleased with the environment and everything else. Denise was very easy to work with and Moxie agrees. My boyfriend and I did tons of research looking for a boarding place and we found her, thank goodness for that!
She was very understanding, helpful, caring and kind with us and with Moxie… He also lost some weight with her which is a major plus for us cause Moxie is a big boy. Once again I would recomend her to everyone and dont hesitate on contacting her she is great to talk to… Thank you Denise!!!

We take our dog June to Denise’s a few times a week for doggie daycare and a few times a year for weekend stays when we go out of town. Denise is flexible, easy to communicate with, and her love for dogs is clearly evident. Denise, Holly, and Jack go above and beyond and we feel very safe leaving our dog in their care.
June, our 9 year old rescued American Staffordshire Terrier, really enjoys the safe environment and spends her time playing with other dogs of all sizes, snoozing in the sun, lounging on the couch, and following the people around the house.
Denise accepts dogs of all breeds as long as they can get along with other dogs. She provides separate areas for lower energy dogs and a nice grassy yard in back. The home environment is perfect for our dog and we love the updates from Denise. I recommend Denise if you’re looking for a low stress, cozy environment for your dog.

I was so happy to find Denise a couple years ago and ever since she has been taking care of my 2 dogs whenever I go out of town. My dogs mean the world to me and I have no hesitation leaving them with Denise. They are so happy to go there too… once there, they don’t even look back! I would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for an honest, reliable and devoted dog sitter… she has made my life so much easier because it’s never easy for me to leave my dogs but she’s made it painless!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. We’ve been taking our dog Otis to Denise’s daycare for about a year now. It is so nice to bring him somewhere that cares about him as much as we do. He wags as we approach her house and he comes home after daycare happy and exhausted. We are on a regular daycare schedule and use boarding as needed. The last time he was boarded there, I started to bring in his bed and Denise said, «You don’t need to bother with that … He sleeps on the couch.» She sends us daily text messages reporting on his day and who he’s playing with. The dogs are treated like family. We could not be happier with Denise and have recommended her to all of our friends (who also love her) and we recommend her to you too. Just, please, don’t make Denise’s service so popular that I have a problem getting Otis in for daycare …
Denise is certified in doggie cpr. Her staff is awesome, friendly and love the dogs as much as she does. While the atmosphere is very friendly and casual … Everything is very professional.
Bottom line is: When we leave Otis with Denise, we know he’s safe and well taken care of and we feel like we are leaving him with a friend.
