BEWARE!!! Brought my iPad in to repair headphone jack that was jammed in it. When I got it back the screen was damaged and now the screen does not rotate(which I checked is unlocked). Also, the camera does not work now!!! It is now far worse off than when I took it in and when I called them about it they could care less. They said they are not responsible for the additional damage which is clearly from when they took it apart. They made me feel like it was my fault!!! Man with heavy accent told me they would look at it again but it would cost me. You have to be kidding me right?. $ 200 down the drain and now I have an iPad with more problems than when I initially took it in. But hey, the volume works now… pfffft! STAYAWAY these guys are not professionals. You do not treat your customers this way if you want repeat business. And like the guy told me… HAVE A NICEDAY!

This company also goes by the names«Fedak Cell» and Fedak Tech”, and has two other locations — one of which is also in Lakewood. I was quoted $ 149 over the phone to fix my cracked Galaxy S4 screen. I brought it in, and was confirmed again ‘$ 149 to fix it — unless the sensor is broken, then it’s $ 250′. So I had the guy look at the phone with me, showing him that the sensor is not at all broken — he played with it too, agreed that everything was fully functional, just the screen needing replaced. He said it’ll be ready in 48 hours. I get a call an hour later saying it’s done, and then another call an hour later saying ‘are you coming to get it?’. I get in, they hand me the phone, saying it’s all set and the screen is replaced. It is replaced. The phone does not work at all. The sensor is fried, the touch screen does not work in the slightest — which leaves me with the functionality of turning it on or off, nothing else. I’m of course upset, mad that they took a cosmetically bad phone and completely bricked it — I state that if I wanted the sensor to be fried, I could have just bought a $ 10 replacement screen off of ebay and done that myself. They bring out the guy who ‘fixed’ it, a very tall/large gentleman who does his best to intimidate and lean over me. He says that I asked for the screen to be fixed, he fixed my screen, yes the sensor is broken, it must have been broken when I brought it in. I say no, and involve the guy I gave the phone to when bringing it in — I say that we agreed the sensor is fine. The ‘repairman’ then changes it to well, I must have just not noticed it. How would I and his employee not notice that it is 100% non-functional? Then says something about how, well, the sensor gets fried sometimes when the screen comes off. So, I point out that his statement means that when HE took the screen off, HE fried the sensor. He says no, it just happens when the screen comes off. I reiterate. He argues, more and more loudly, repeating the same things over and over. I’m telling him he needs to fix the sensor that he broke, he says no, just use it without the sensor — but then agrees with me that it’s impossible to even call 911 with it if I wanted to. They charge me $ 100 instead of the $ 150 to get back the phone they’ve just junked for me. I compare it with a proper S4, and the screen is replaced with a generic version — the little shapes in the white background are a different size, and the face has a different hue to it. SO: They get these generic screens for a few bucks, overheat the sensor when heating the screen to get the glue to come off, pop the new one on, profit. I am now out the $ 600+ for the phone, and $ 108 with tax for their services.
