Would you like a trainer that doesn’t scream at you but is affective? Someone who is polite and will help you on your journey. Chris is your trainer. All you New Years resolutioners let this decision be the last that works! I’m going to have to bug the $h!t out of him for not having a website yet, but oh well. He trains people for different goals they have to obtain. Fat loss/lean muscle building Cardio training Activity-specific training(ex: skiing/snowboarding, weight lifting competitions, model competitions, marathons) Backpacking/camping/14ers/snowshoeing Nutritional services Bootcamps Football training The list goes on. (If he doesn’t do the service like physical therapy, he knows people that does.) I met him first via his hiking group. Other hiking groups I had participated with were frustrating and unwelcoming. Those groups the leaders would be at the front of the pack and didn’t care to keep an eye out for the newbies that were sadly slower or out of shape. Chris does not do that with his hiking groups. If there is slower, new to Colorado people joining his hikes then he stays in the back with them. He explained that he feels responsible for those people since they are on one of his hikes. If they get hurt or need to turn around he goes with them to make sure they make it back to their car safely. That’s just a little explanation on his character. From my hike with him learned he was a trainer and decided to take him up on his expertise. Let me start by saying that I had a major back injury during college and gained a ton of weight. I’m limited on what motions I’m allowed to do. He was very cautious and careful with the training he would have me do. At the start of my program was a basic training to build up my strength and prep my joints to prevent injuries.(I recommend some of these exercises to my friends to this day.) He was very patient while I was biting at the nip to do more, and he would explain we’ve got to get through the beginning first. Good thing.(After the getting past the beginning routine, he would switch up the training to make it interesting and not the same boring routine every time. If you want to go hiking, then just say so!) After training with him for a while I saw progress in losing weight and being able to run again which I hadn’t been able to do in years! Update: today I am now able to go on hiking trail runs and very happy. Price: Some people might bark at the prices he charges, but let me tell you I’ve been with bad trainers before that their cheaper prices were totally a waste of time. If you want results then his prices are very reasonable. He does different pricing strategies the more sessions you buy the hour rate becomes cheaper. He also offers group session which also makes it cheaper. Side note: I had paid extra for nutritional services. Honestly this part I personally didn’t find value in. I’d suggest you follow a great program like the fast metabolism diet while training with him. He had recommended using the app myfitnesspal, and it wasn’t what I needed. I was actually not eating enough and the right foods to supplement my activity. Most people are constantly feed the saying calories in calories out b.s. That doesn’t work for everyone, especially if you need to heal your body. Following the fast metabolism diet will help greatly with that. I feel wonderful on this program. He doesn’t stay on his phone the entire time he is training you like other trainers do. He is mindful of the time you have paid for. This guy is very popular; while you are training folks from the complex will show up to talk to him. Just bark at him to pay attention. He doesn’t want to offend anyone that it becomes a fault of his. The gym he trains in is in a very nice apt complex’s gym that he maintains with new good equipment and he does classes for the residences daily during the week. Ladies, a little bit of advice. Don’t fall for this one. He is very sweet, but he is a good salesman. Just go with the focus of loving yourself to a better shape or goal.
