We decided to go to Flautas & Tortas Friday August 15th. We like to go there on Fridays frequently and the food is good and the staff and owner have been friendly to my wife and I. Well this time was completely opposite. We didn’t even get to the eating part because I stood in line while the owner finished taking orders of people in front of me. The food was going out but the line wasn’t moving anywhere. They should have had another person helping out so there were 3 people, 2 cooking and the owner. He then started having a conversation in Spanish with the 2 guys in front of me which seemed to have nothing to do with ordering food. That went on for over 10 minutes. Finally I got up to order and a guy from the previous group(who didn’t even get in line) wanted something for his Horchata. So instead of taking my order(he did say«what do you want» rudely). You’d think that as long as I waited, he could have taken the 5 –7 minutes it would take for him to get my order of 2 plates of street tacos, a drink and some flan. Then he could take care of the guys drink who cut in front of me WHOALREADYHADHISFOOD! I can’t help but think that if I spoke Spanish and was named Lopez I would have been waited on quicker but alas to no avail. We will NEVER go back here again no matter how good those tacos are. I hope he sees this and realizes he needs more than 3 people on peak times.

Not your typical mall food. Thats probably why this place isn’t in the food court but off in the corner between neighborhoods. The street tacos are good, they only come in steak asada. 4 to an order and served with a couple salsas lime and onion and cilantro. The tortas are huge and delicious. Typical torta with choice of meat, beans, mayo and avocado with bunches of layers of flavors. The prices are typical for the mall but high for a taco shop. The food is worth the stop. Word.
