Fredericks of Hollywood

Went to my neighborhood Frederick’s and it was closed. Then called the other 2 near my home and also closed. Called customer service and they said all stores closed nation wide and can only order on-​line. Bummer!!!

I came in yesterday to grab something special to wear on Valentine’s day for my bf. There was only 1 girl working and she wasn’t friendly at all. No «hi hello how are you doing? «when I walked in nor did she ask me if I needed any help. I was in the store for about 45 minutes. I don’t think she ever smiled at me and if she did I don’t recall it. The store itself is kind of old and their registers, oh boy. SO OUTDATED. But the lingerie is nice and a fair price. I was able to find some items and I left satisfied with my purchase. FYI the store doesn’t have everything that is shown online. I wasn’t able to find some items but thats ok.

Absolutely horrible customer service. I love their merchandise but it’s not worth shopping here with the snooty and rude customer service workers. I’ve been in many Fredericks stores, and always been approached and asked if I needed assistance. I was not asked once, and even had to ask them for help to which I got a rude response. There were 2 girls working, and I was the only one in the store. Then in being laced up in a corset (mind you, I weigh 130lbs and was trying on a medium– I was not sizing down), she said «if I do it any tighter your fat will come together». While sure, it could be a possibility that it couldn’t go tighter, there is NO WAY a comment like that should be made to a customer, of any size. I can’t imagine how this girl treats people that are larger than I am. I left, and bought something elsewhere, which I will continue to do so I am not belittled by the employees working for this company again.

I love to shop for sexy lingerie and Frederick’s of Hollywood is my go-​to spot.
When I can’t go to Frederick’s of Hollywood IN Hollywood, I go here.
Usually, my experiences are mediocre when I need assistance and I feel like I’m burdening the employees.
Today was different though and I’m here to thank Julie.
I had to call the store to ask who employee number ****** was, because oddly enough, their receipts only have employee numbers on them.
Julie actually was excited when I told her what I needed the lingerie for and helped me find the best deals and fits.
I’m quite appreciative!

I actually live in Lakewood, walking distance from the mall but I’ve always preferred Victoria’s Secret because I had never been to Frederick’s, I’ve always just walked by the store and wouldn’t bother to go inside. I am so glad I did… they actually have really great things. From the moment I walked in the girl at the register (I think she is the manager) was really nice, but Stephanie (the other girl working that night) was awesome… she exceeded my expectations. She helped me out so much with what I needed. She was so patient, even though I had her going in and out bringing me bras so that I could try on. I wish there was a company site where I could comment about her because she was so great that I would definitely want to see her compensated for her good work =) but I already went to the Frederick’s of Hollywood website and didn’t find anywhere I could comment.

I have a confession to make, I’ve actually set foot in this on more than occasion by myself. I can’t believe I haven’t written about this place. Sad to say the purchase wasn’t for me per se but in a way it was.
Wifey drags me here all the time when we’re at the mall. I’m not much of a fan as she is because I actually feel very uncomfortable around lingerie. I think they look better on the floor if you ask me. I totally feel like one of the guys waiting for their girlfriends to try out the items. Just sitting waiting, wishing they could be somewhere else.
There is a great sale happening right now 2 for $ 20 on their select bras. That’s not bad right? Well even if I don’t shop here for myself, I know that I have a good spot to stop by when in need of a gift item for the wifey.
