What great service! The attendant listened, asked good questions, let me know that if my high mileage vehicle needs a top off between oil changes, they’ll be happy to do it. When I hesitantly asked if they have a filter for my Land Rover, she said, «Sure, if we don’t, we’ll go get one.» The Jiffy Lube guy, where I stopped first, saw me pull up and made it clear he had no interest in my business. I am SO happy to be spending my money here with this professional, friendly business.

Quick, clean, friendly, hassle free. These guys are great professionals and they don’t oversell you a bunch of crap. I will go nowhere but here for an oil change. Great experience!

These folks are solid. Always get me in and out quick, and I never walk always thinking that I got ripped off. The business owner is solid and always friendly. Even pitches in to do the work. And the coolest thing they did recently? Implemented a dashboard in the lobby that shows a reasonable timeframe that you can expect your car to be finished!

I have been here several times and they are very friendly, fast and professional as can be including the last time I was there. It wasn’t until I got home to install a new air filter as they directed did I find a perfect glob of grease next to my hood latch that was purposely put there as a joke. Save the practical jokes for when you are drinking beer with your buddy’s not for the customers paying 60+ dollars for an oil change.

In the past I’ve always been anxious to bring my vehicle anywhere because of past experiences with shady car people upselling. But since bringing our van into grease monkey, I’ve felt confident knowing that we are only getting what we need. Plus they have a little area specifically for our little guy, who is always exploring and super active. And they have a small snack area that includes popcorn and drinks. It’s a pleasure to go there, and spending under 30 minutes to keep your car running. I definitely will recommend this location to everyone I know.

After going on a mountain bike trip, my car returned home covered in mud and with the check engine light on. I took it to Grease Monkey this morning to get it diagnosed and then planned to take it to a car wash. The guys there told me it was a sensor, so they cleared it and there was no charge. They gave me my keys and I went to my car, only to discover they had cleaned all my windows of the mud. These guys are awesome! I’ll be recommending this place to everyone I know.

I’m usually really skeptical about going to chain auto shops, but I’ve received nothing but very friendly and honest (presumably) service from these guys. I usually only come here to get my routine oil changed and they will do several inspections on the vehicle, all of which pass their inspection. They will top off fluid levels for me at no additional cost. And they’re pretty cheap for getting a hand car wash… somewhere between $ 5 – 10.
My latest visit here was to get my battery checked b/​c my car has been struggling lately when I try to start it. They tested the battery and alternator at no fee and concluded that the alternator was fine but the battery doesn’t have much life left in it and offered to replace it. I declined b/​c I had purchased the battery within the past few years and should still be under manufacturer warranty.
They will run all these tests on your car to try and tack on additional tasks and work that they can charge you for. This is all good and fine by me except when they charge double to triple the cost for new air filters… My advice to anyone who needs new air filters, forgo this place, purchase your own from an auto parts supplier and take two minutes to change them out yourselves. It’s as easy as changing your own windshield wipers.

(the grease monkey) is the only one I will let monkey around with my car! The grease monkey rules! Don’t take your car anywhere else. You are only cheating yourself in the end. The grease monkey gets to the root of the problem and fixes it like new. Tom is my mechanic for life! I wish the rest of them could act better around women, hence the 3 stars.

These guys are heros. They saved my car from seizing after having a botched oil change where my car had leaked 2.5 quarts in six hours. And they did it right before they were supposed to close on a Saturday. This team is hard working, honest, and they do the job right the first time. The shop is clean, staff is competent, and they do a wonderful job in a very reasonable amount of time. There’s no one I’d trust my vehicle with more. Here’s to 100k miles and counting…

Know what to expect. Don’t let them treat you like a dipstick.
I get it. Car places are shady and have a reputation to try and take advantage of the the ill informed consumer. A simple oil change can turn into a laundry list of problems in under 20 min. Be informed on what you need done and stay strong unless there is a blatant obvious problem.
Okay, that’s out the way. Sorry for the short rant.
I’ve been coming to grease monkey for a little over a year now to get my oil changed. I came originally due to location and convenience and enjoyed my experience. I’ve never felt taken advantage of but I also have a decent knowledge of cars (due to all the car problems I’ve faced in my life). You SHOULD expect for them to try and up sell you, that’s just what car places do, but it’s never felt aggressive or insistent to the point that my «no thanks» wasn’t sufficient.
They also have a go to line about the cleanliness of your cabin and engine air filters as well as some nuts or bolts beginning to be «rounded.» I genuinely am not trying to be condescending, but I literally just heard them tell the 2 people sitting beside me the exact same thing so it feels like they’re following a script.
Let’s summarize. Car places can be scary. Know what you need. Be firm in that. Expect some scripted requests and up selling. HOWEVER, from my experience YOU CAN TRUST THIS PLACE! I just got my car back and will be back in about 4,000 miles.

Stopped in today to get an oil change and air filter replaced before a Thanksgiving road trip. Right away they pulled the air filter and told me it doesn’t need to be replaced for several more oil changes. Didn’t try to sell me anything I don’t need, and got me in and out quick. I’ll definitely be going there more now, especially since I am boycotting Wal-​Mart.

The place is clean and efficient, the staff are nice — but be careful, because they will definitely try to hustle you for an upsell service you don’t need.
Came here since my brother is a longtime patron & was told how essential it was that I give my car a radiator flush — a mere $ 90 more. I should have called my brother first, but I told them to go ahead… and turned down the three other services they were pushing. Later that day my brother took one look at my car and told me I hadn’t needed it.
Their work is quality but I hate being pushed into a purchase I didn’t need. Two stars guys, sorry.

I’ve been to this location a few times. They’re always fast, seem honest, and don’t appear to be out there trying to hustle you. It may sound trivial, but offering you (the customer) a free soda or coffee and a bag of popcorn is a nice touch.

Owner Clint was real professional and friendly. Came in almost closing time they eagerly took it in. And the service vas the best I have had in a long time. They have the best team. They used the specific oil I asked for they had in stock. Very Satisfied.

My girlfriend utilized this Grease Monkey’s services towards the end of last summer for some transmission issues on her car and I have to say the team and owner of this establishment are nothing short of phenomenal and exemplary. They definitely provided superior service and nothing but professionalism and friendliness. Not to mention they were able to perform the work at a cost much lower than the dealership was quoting. So following that experience I decided to give the store a try for some service on my vehicle. A brake fluid flush and service and a transmission fluid flush and service. Again, the store did not let us down. The guys (and woman) here are all top notch, very knowledgeable, very friendly, and provide fantastic work. One can definitely tell that the staff here take pride in their store because the bays are clean, the waiting area is spotless and they provide you with complimentary snacks/​drinks as you wait. I have nothing but great things to say about this Grease Monkey and highly recommend them for your next automotive servicing.

A good location, near one place I work and where I am on a regular and nearly daily basis. The staff is polite, nice, and helpful. They’ve been able to squeeze me in on really busy days, and get me on my way in a reasonable (and often much shorter than thought) amount of time. I’ve been coming here long enough that they have a good record of my service (s), which is very nice. But what really gets me, and gets me coming back? They REFUSE to upsell me! They have on several occasions said «hey, this part/​piece is wearing on down, but you should have another 5,000 miles left in it» or «I know you were concerned about {insert expensive part here}, but honestly, it’s fine.» I had the manager once say «If you REALLY want me to, I’ll sell you a brand new part, but you don’t need a new one.»; saved me $ 300. Free popcorn, free waters/​sodas, and a staff that seems very honest, what’s not to like?

We went here tonight for my fiancé’s oil change in his new (but used) car that we bought last week. Yea we know a lot of things still need to be done with it, but these guys, no matter which one you go to, always want to up charge you. Take my Jeep for example, yes I know I need the differential fluid changed and a whole lot other, but you really think someone walks in with tons of cash in hand? Not the ordinary person. Ok, back to my fiancé’s car. We get there and are immediately greeted by a few employees, which says they weren’t busy at almost 5 pm. We get the synthetic oil change (the most basic) and walk inside. Wow. Their waiting area is sooo much cleaner than other Grease Monkey’s I’ve been to. Hardwood flooring without a scuff mark that I could see on it. A separate men’s and women’s bathroom (others I’ve seen are only one for customers), a popcorn machine (like you see in an Ace Hardware) and a mini clear fridge with soda and water for free. The person that we talked with while waiting in the waiting room was great. He offered us fresh popcorn and while we ate it, he was cleaning the machine almost from top to bottom. With no one else waiting, we got the chance to turn the channel to whatever we wanted, which was cool. About 20 – 25 minutes later we were on our way. One thing I like about Grease Monkey in general is that they show you on the computer screen what they did. It help explains a lot. When we exited the store both of our car doors were open. Yea I would go here again but sadly we’re moving to Denver so I have to find a new one :).

Super fast service. Very professional and friendly owner and staff. Technically proficient staff that got the job done right. Suggested a few other add-on’s that needed to be done and showed why — but didn’t incessantly press when I declined the services.

These guys take care of a machine with the precision of a machine. I can stop in at any time between oil changes and they will cheerfully top off low wiper fluid, brake fluid, oil, or other car fluidly stuff. No charge! Yeah, it is a chain and not totally cheap on the full Monty oil change, but I can’t leave my truck someplace for two days for a frigging oil change.
They are so efficient and quick, it almost isn’t a pain in the oil tank to go there. I have been to others — it is worth the drive.
The magazines can entertain the soccer mom or the very manly man. Cookies, coffee and sodas are available to distract and a TV is on with (hopefully) something really good such as «Who’s the babies daddy Maury? I am 1300% sure he is the babies daddy!!» New flash, he ain’t the babies daddy. I love that — so much better than soaps!
Good place, nice guys, they take care of cars. They do not try to up sell me as much at this location as much as others. I just smile and say «I’ll have to check with my husband, he knows all about cars.»
