This rating is based on the quality and the freshness of the Dduk at this dduk-jeep, or duk-house, which is simply a place where dduk is made. Been coming here since I moved in the area and have always loved it. I love the little balls with red bean inside and have grown to love the multi colored layered cake looking dduk as well. For some, including myself who did not grow up with the various types of dduk the selection here can be quite overwhelming. Most of the dduk has something within in mostly beans of one type or another. Other types are covered in ground up beans or sesame that are really tasty. Couple of things to note: The dduk is not very sweet. If you are looking for something that is very cakey or American sweet, this is not the place for you. The flavors are all very subtle. The dduk gets hard after a day. You are supposed to eat it within a day The dduk you are buying here are the leftovers of orders and distribution to markets in the area. What you get one time could easily be packaged differently or not even available the next time you go They are not always willing to mix and match the variety of offerings they have Prices are about $ 4.50 a pack. Enjoy!

I’m not someone who knows a lot about Korean dduk but I do know that this is the only place my mom will buy it from. The ladies working there are older and hardly speak any English but they make good stuff. They make a lot of traditional Korean rice cakes here. The only reason why they didn’t get 5 stars is bc my Korean sucks and it made communication a little difficult.
