Laventina’s Pizza

i really liked the people who worked there, they are super friendly and nice! i’ve tried their pizza rolls and oven baked subs and they were both really tasty!

The tandori chicken pizza and the meat lovers pizza were both really good. Chutney sauce on the side is great. The people were nice too and the wait was short.

Grease. Grease on top of grease. Who ordered the grease? I’ll give a thumbs up on the wings, tho! Customer service? Uh, not top notch. Don’t be tossing my card on the pizza box. I handed it to you… hand it back to me. Oh, and uh… GREASY ass pizza!

Beeeeeeessstttt pizza! So good! Great customer service! We usually do delivery and they always get it to us within the stated time. Wings and salad are great too!!!

Great prices and really the «best sauce in town» like they say. The owner is always behind the counter. Service is prompt and friendly. Don’t let the small walk up style establishment fool you, the pizza is really amazing.

I’ve been going to Laventina’s Pizza for years. Not only for home but also at my company. Food was always good and the delivery people were friendly. I’m not sure what’s happened recently, but the food and service has dropped off dramatically. The pizza was tasteless. The sauce and pepperoni were pretty much non existent. The cheese NO flavor… none. The pizza was bland and soggy. I don’t know if this place has changed hands or just decided to cut as many corners as possible. I’m giving them 2 stars instead of 1 in hopes that the old Laventina’s will return. In the mean time, I’m looking for a pizza place I can call home.

Over all, their pizzas ‘pass’.
BUT, they use frozen sausage.
The dough is not store made,
Their sauce is weak in flavor.
To repeat, their pizza passes, but, I don’t know why.

When the boyfriend is from the east coast and approves Laventina’s, then you know it’s a good sign. I order from here at least once a month. I always get the meatlovers and wings. They do deliver. I don’t think it’s a place to dine in since I can’t recall seeing any tables. I’ve told quite a few people about this pizza place (worth it on your cheat days).

Flavorful pizza, inexpensive for the quality. Small slices, but still delicious. A small side of ranch cost over a dollar so I would recommend going to a grocery store before or after for those needs.

I don’t even like pizza but one of my cousins brought home a chicken tandoori pizza and also a supreme pizza and I kept wanting another slice! My favorite would have to be the chicken tandoori pizza. I dont live anywhere close by but i kept thinking about the pizza (darn cravings) so I called and I placed my order, the lady asked for my phone number and I gave it to her with my 310 area code. She even said to me «this is in lakewood» and I’m like «yeah, I know. Its for pickup» LOL. That pizza is worth the drive. I got a Large and shared it with my boyfriend and sister. It was a pretty decent size but next time ill get the XL with that green sauce. Yum!

Not very many pizza places around here! When we moved here we tried many places and this is by far the best.

They had some really yummy pizza! Garlic, garlic, and more garlic made me a huge fan! The pizza had a nice crust and a nice amount of toppings. I’m not sure what all they put on the garlic cheese bread, but my taste buds were in flavorful heaven! The wait time is minimal, and the prices are great.

Great, great, great pizza!!! Love all of their speciality pizzas… Slightly pricey.

This place advertises in coupon books and it has high ratings on Unilocal which is surprising. Unilocal is usually right on, but not this time. I’m a pizza cone suer and this is pretty bad pizza. Disappointing.

Ordered Supreme XL for my buddies. delivery was great on time and pizza taste great.

If it’s your cheat day, or you just love pizza and embrace the free-​spirited eater that you are, then you will LOVE this place. It’s a very small storefront, and they do business primarily through take-​out or pick-​up.
Their pizza is quick, delicious and not too greasy. The cheese is spectacular. In the immortal words of Shia Lebeauf, do it. Just. Do. It.

You know those pizzas you get at franchised parlors where it looks like they stamped it out of a mold in an assembly line? This isn’t that, it’s as if it were hand crafted to order by an actual human being.
This pizza is everything the box lid says it is.

If you don’t like that clumpy heavy feeling in your belly after you ate about a quarter of a large pizza, this place is for you.
Called in the order and went there with a coupon (I love saving money) to this pizza parlor (more like a pizza stand). There are metal rusted tables and chairs to sit on and eat your pizza, but there were so few. So my boyfriend and I took the pizza home with us.
The service was standard, however we were there so briefly I can’t say much about it.
We got the deluxe pizza and a side of spicy chicken wings. The pizza was pretty good, the dough and the pizza sauce was a little sweet; which created a unique taste. After eating a quarter of the large pizza, I felt full and satisfied, however I didn’t bloated, nor did I feel like I had a lump in my stomach. The spicy chicken wings were great. Good amount of spicy heat to sting your tongue.
I’m a fan of this pizza place because of the nice feeling it leaves you after consuming the pizza.

If your looking for thinner crust pizza this is the place to go. I got the deluxe pizza. Lets start off by saying the tomato sauce is a little bit on the sweeter side (which really is not my style) however they do put a lot of cheese (which is great).
I do wish the pizza was cooked a little bit longer to give it more of a crisp taste. Also it is a little bit pricey for an XL pizza $ 20
It was my first time there and I think I will be looking for an alternate pizza location.

OMG WOW. First time trying Laventina’s pizza and I was satisfied. I ordered the Large Pepperoni Pizza and a Large BBQ Chicken Pizza. Both were ver delicious and well made. It was a smidge overpriced but I’d pay it because the food tastes so good. The sauce on both pizzas wasn’t like any other sauce I’ve tasted before. It definitely had its own taste but it was so delicious. The sauce wasn’t thick and goopy like most sauces, it wasn’t oversalted and it had a different sweet/​spicy taste. The crust actually tasted like bread unlike other pizzas where it tastes just like gooey dough. The slices and pizzas were big and the toppings were adequate. I came back twice in 2 days. This is my new spot for pizza. So much better than the generic places.
