Lawrence Marshall, OD

Dr. Marshall is tops. He has state of the art equipment, highly competent, and a pleasure to work with. He has two (2) remarkable assistances: Sandy (San Pedro office) and Sonya (Lakewood office). Sandy and Sonya run the office and handle patient services. They are competent, friendly, and helpful.
If you need an OD in either San Pedro, or Lakewood area, please give them a try. And share you experience on Unilocal too. Great customer care business like Dr. Marshall OD should be recognized and praised. We need more businesses like them.

I enjoyed my visit, the female (Sandy) in the front desk was very helpful. I had many questions with my insurance, she made it easy breezy. The Dr. was very nice as well ~ I will return to take the rest of the family.

I’ve been going to Dr. Marshall’s office for about 8 plus years now. Not only is the doctor himself a great optometrist, but every doctor he’s had working for his office have been as well. The best part of the service has to got be the woman up front. Always smiling, happy, helpful, & honest, this is exactly the kind of person I’d always prefer help from. You can tell, right out of the gate, you don’t have a fake or plastic sales person that’s just trying to push a product on you. You know you’ve got a real human being standing there in front of you, who genuinely and respectfully wants to help you. I’m honestly, truly baffled by this complaint of ‘awful’ or ‘insensitive’. These words are, in fact, the exact opposite of the words I’d use to describe the woman running Dr. Marshall’s office. Perhaps what this complainer needs is not a doctor of optometry, but rather a Dr. Phil. Lol. Dr. Marshall’s has been great to me. I drive all the way over from Torrance for my eye care, if that tells you anything.

Dr. Lawrence is a great optometrist. But the lady that works the front area is awful! She’s rather insensitive and needs better people skills. I was going there for 2 years and decided I had had enough of her inability to treat patients with respect and care. I realize she’s been there for years but she’s the reason I left.
