I was very happy with my pedicure. My rough heels are smooth and soft. I showed Mindy a picture of nail art from Pintrest to see if she could do something like it. She looked at it for about 2 seconds and said sure! She did a beautiful job. She chose the colors and everything. Mindy is the best! I will definitely be back.

Let me just start by saying, wow. I don’t understand how places like this stay open, considering there are so many places in Denver, you think you’d take some pride in your work! My nail technician was Henry. He was very nice, the place was not dirty, not clean. I had a mani pedi done, removing gel on finger nails. I get home and notice my toe nails aren’t even painted all the way. The corners of my toe nails are barely filed. AND there are still pieces of my shellac on my hands. Good lord! Granted it wasn’t very expensive, it was still such a sloppy job. First and last time here, I can’t recommend.

I had never used this salon but was in dire need of a shellac manicure. They were able to fit me in very last minute so I decided to give them a try. I should’ve stayed home and had my 9 year old son polish my nails instead… they would’ve come out better. The man was in a complete rush, mangled my cuticles, and I left with polish all over my cuticles. The ends of my nails are rough and catching on anything and everything because zero time or care was taken to file/buff them. Terrible experience. I am out $ 35 for a non-manicure and polish job that looks like it was done by a child. Do not waste your time or money. Believe me, find a more reputable salon!!!

Went in today for the very first time, they were very welcoming! Did a great job on my nails! The gal took her time, was not in a rush! Definitely recommend this place! Great Job Mindy!

I honestly generally give good reviews and enjoy trying new places. Unfortunately OPL Nails gave me the worst shellac manicure I’ve ever had. I got a shellac manicure and regular pedicure and paid $ 70 total but left outwardly unsatisfied which is bad for any business to let happen. My nail technician literally skipped the manicure part of my shellac manicure and went right to the paint. When I brought up how no manicure was done he proceeded anyways and said it was fine. After the paint I again asked him to do the manicure because that’s why I was there and he looked it over and said it looked fine after a few touches. I’m now out $ 70 and never received the service that I went there for. Sadly, I’d never recommend OPL Nails, I’d defer you.

This place is fantastic! We came here before my best friends wedding and they got the whole bridal party in with an appointment right away. They did a great job on our nails and the salon was nice and clean. They could use a few more colors for polish but overall a really great experience.

I have been coming here since I moved to Lakewood. Last couple of visits was with Kim. What I like is that she is careful and a perfectionist — always wanting me to be happy. OPI Union Blvd has coupons online if you pay w/cash — $ 30 for a gel shellac manicure seems like a good deal to me. Also, Kim is such a sweet lady. Do you know they don’t get paid for just sitting there — only when they actually see a client! Please just don’t walk in … call for an appointment and ask to book with KIM.

** ½ I’d go back in a pinch but it won’t be my first choice. Pretty fast and mediocre pedicure and my hands started chipping on day 3. The salon I use regularly in Denver, I can go 5 or 6 days without any chips and my cuticles start looking ragged before the nails do. The thing I loved was that all three TV had World Cup on and no lame music.

Worst pedicure ever! Bumpy and not trimmed well. Also didn’t cover the entire nail with poilsh. Never ever again! Trust me save your money and the aggravation and go elsewhere.

Went there on a whim, was very rushed and she painted my nails(to me) very sloppy and up close lots of bubbles in the paint. Uhhhh still on a search for another nail salon that can do a decent job.

I’ve been here twice in the past 2 years. I don’t get my nails done often. The ambiance is nice and I like the decorations. The first time was a good experience. I really like the woman who did my nails. She was nice and friendly and did a great job. The second time I got a man and he didn’t talk(I suspect he couldn’t speak english very well) and he did a very bad job at applying shellac to my nails. The shallac was not smooth and even – it was very lumpy and made my nails look oddly deformed. I’m hesitant about going back.

Worst mani/pedi I’ve ever received! After 20 years I’ve had some bad ones but this by far was a waste of time and money. The male tech was awful! He rushed thru everything, skipped the majority of the steps, no pumice on heels, massaged so lightly he should have skipped that too. I told him to skip the paint job as I could only imagine what a hot mess that would have turned out like. During the mani, I noticed, he had a bloody knuckle — just gross and unsanitary.

I go to this salon quite often, it’s clean and the staff are friendly. I have noticed that some techs are better than others, but generally speaking, they all do a good job. I have never been disappointed with my nails(shellac) or pedicures.

Nice enough place, but when I got a set of acrylic nails they did not look good at all! The sides were still protruding because they didn’t file it off and they were so thin that within three days they were already cracking. It had to even been a full week before they started to crack off, and I am not hard on fake nails at all! The price was around industry average, about $ 50 for a full set of gel tips, and they were upset that I did not pay in cash. Since it was my first time there they allowed me to pay by credit card but were very rude about having to do so. I will not be going back there any time soon!

OPI Nails is located in Lakewood and the staff is friendly, attentive and competent. Best shellac manicure bar none. The shellac will last for 2 – 3 weeks. Ask for Justin — he is the most lovely manicurist ever.

Good nail salon with competitive prices. I think it depends on who your technician is though because the second time my nails looked a little«off».
