We enjoy this place. The manager and staff know us, since we come here so much(plus, I’m probably the only Spanish-speaking white guy they have encountered, so that makes it easier). My son loves this place as well, as the food is easy for his toddler teeth to chew. My favorites are the Kung Pao, anything with shrimp, and the Orange chicken. Though we have tried everything on the menu. My wife does have a gripe with their pacific shrimp that comes wit green beans, as they always undercook the green beans. Meh. We have never really ordered drinks, or ate here, as we always choose to eat in the comfort of our home. So I cannot clarify or rate the eating environment. However, when it fills up the line can take forever to get through. Still, we love it

Online ordering was easy. I’ll eat there again. I enjoyed the brown rice and orange chicken. Great!

I will give three stars due to the awesome customer service that I received. The employees were very polite, friendly and helpful. To be honest, the only reason I came here is because I had a two for one coupon. Dont get me wrong… I did not expect top notch Chinese or anything… but…meh…Panda Express food just doesnt really hit the spot for me. Even on the receipt it stated fried white rice, but the fried rice in my box was made with brown rice… and I can make better fried rice at home. They were out of some items in the food area and also the beverage area. Restaurant was clean and appealing. Would I return? Meh… maybe if I get another two for one coupon.

I needed to grab a quick bite to eat for lunch so had decided on going to Panda Express in Lakewood. I’m not on for fast food type joints, quite the opposite actually but it sounded interesting and I needed some thing easy and quick but I didn’t want anything burger related so I figured why not… to start, as soon as I opened the doors it was decent for space for customers to sit down and eat as well it looked very clean so that was a plus. Though the reasons as to why I gave it only 2 stars was the service and food. Secondly, with the service, as soon as I came up to the counter to order my food to go the employee had seemed very groggy and deflated as if they hadn’t wanted to be there serving you food. Yes they gave the generic greeting of course but no enthusiasm as to they wanting to be there nor seemed to have any interest in being there. If you don’t want to be there then don’t act like it. Having good customer service is crucial and first impression and presentation puts a lasting impression on the customers whether they would come back or not. And finally, the for the food. I had ordered«the plate» a 1 entrée and 2 sides to go. With that I had the chow mein(which they literally pack in), the orange chicken(very little portion even for an adult) and a chicken egg roll. After taking a first bite of the chow mein it was extremely dry with more cabbage than noodles in it, the chicken was very heavy with seasons and sauce and likely may be the only good part of my meal. With the egg roll– overall that was just mediocre for an egg roll. Overall I give the place 2 stars for the presentation of the restaurant which was decently alright but with the customer service, the food taste and portion sizes I will not be a returning customer.

It’s cheap, but I recommend it. It may suite other people’s taste buds but my husband and brother did not like the food either. The orange chicken was really strong but the best thing we had. We tried the fried rice, chow mein, veggies, honey walnut shrimp, honey chicken, orange chicken, some sort of beef stir fry(best one but beef texture was freakishly soft). You’re better off going to a teriyaki. All three of us came to $ 26 something. I have had my fair share of food, fast food style, fresh, of the street carts etc, even westernized, but I just would not come back again. There was so much msg, sugar and salt that I threw up after an upset stomach.

The employees at the LakeHOOD Panda Express must tell each other… «Daang, this guy must love Panda Express because he’s here again for the 4th time this week!» lol I ain’t gonna lie because this was happening for awhile. I would go in twice a week and my twin brother would also go to the same location the following day or sometimes later in the day making it seem that all I ever ate was Panda Express. This was going on for awhile until they finally figured it out that I have a twin brother that also likes Panda Express. We are both identical but we just like eating at Panda Express. The only way to tell us apart is that I’m the good looking one. How I feel about Panda Express? It’s delicious Chinese fast food! Some of ya’ll may disagree but my standards & expectations are a lot lower because I’m not that fancy. The LakeHOOD Panda Express doesn’t disappoint. My food on most visits were hot, fresh, and nom-nom! Once in awhile they won’t have my choice entrée available at the time but I just go with something different and end up liking the different entrée. My go to plate is the two entrée to go! See you gotta get your Panda Express to go! The portions seem more with the to-go option but anyhow I always get half & half(chow mein & fried rice), teriyaki chicken, and the kung pao chicken. The LakeHOOD location is very well maintained. Friendly employees. Price under $ 10 for some tasty fast food Chinese food.

We go to this panda all time and they have horrible service & they give you the smallest portions possible. Got my daughter a kids meal and they gave her 4 tiny pieces of chicken! Will never go to this location again.

This was my first experience at a panda express. My friend wanted to meet here for dinner. I got the«fried rice»(with corn instead of egg???) an egg roll, orange chicken and beef&broccoli. The ladies were nice at first we went to sit down all the booths were filthy so we had to find a table. The food had absolutely no flavor at all it was so gross. My friend said it’s normally better a few bites into it we decided we couldn’t eat it soy didn’t even make it better. So my friend took hers up to the counter and the only thing they would do was replace it for another plate. So we through $ 20 in the trash and walked out the door. I won’t ever go back to a panda express YUCK! We went to AAA Buffet it was WAY better.

I have been to Panda Express at very location in Tennessee and Washington State for years. I love their food especially: Orange Chicken, walnut Shrimp, Egg Rolls, Fried Rice, and their Noodles. I have eaten both inside and Take Home. The food is always good. The service is always efficient. The restaurants are always clean. In Lakewood we get take out at least one a week.

It’s Panda Express, a California chain of Chinese food. It’s clean, fresh vegetables, lots of varieties. I had to do a 5 star rating asap to neutralize the negativity. Glad there is a Panda Express in the south end, because they’re reliable for quality and portion control when it comes to Chinese food. It’s probably the only fast food Chinese food I really trust. What other Chinese restaurant allows samples? My favorites are the 3 entrée: side of chow mein, Kung pao chicken, Shanghai beef, and sweet and sour chicken. That fortune cookie though…

I enjoy eating Chinese food, especially from Panda Express! One of the best things I like about this store location is the environment and workers. The first experience I had made a huge impact on why I even returned. First thing I noticed was how clean and shiny the tables, windows, chairs, menu board, steam glass, and appliances were. I was greeted by all the workers. To be specific, they said, «Welcome to Panda Express», with big smiles and friendly attitudes. I was offered to try all the entries, which I gladly did because I didn’t know what I wanted to have. It all looked fresh and good! There were two spicy entries; bejing beef and kung pao chicken. I’m not a huge fan of spicy foods, but since the serving portion isn’t overwhelming, I chose bejing beef. For my second entry I chose teriyaki chicken because both the sauce and chicken tasted better than any teriyaki I’ve had in this state, so far. The nicest part about ordering there was how kind the worker was, her attitude reflected how happy she was to work there and serve the food, and how clear and helpful she was. I skipped the side choice, which came first, so she respectfully let me know which side choices there were and asked which one I would like to start off with. Then, repeated the entries I chose and asked if I would like an appetizer. The cream cheese rangoons came in an order of three with free sweet & sour sauce. So I ordered those. It seems like so much from all this detail, but it went by in less than 5 minutes! Although, it seems a bit much to ask all those questions, it shows how much they have to offer and satisfy everyone’s experience. I had my own beverage with me so I skipped out on theirs. There was a display window with all their vegetables, which looked so beautiful, organized, full and clean! Made me want to have something like that in my own kitchen… hahaha! Since they don’t have a tip jar, I donated my change to their«children’s hospital in downtown Seattle» box. As soon as I did that a bell went off and I was praised with a thank you from all of them! I was surprised and felt appreciated. So I just wanted to give back that appreciation through this review. Thank you Panda Express!!!

This was my first time at one of the panda express restaurants and the young lady who serve me was very very nice. I had a chow mein bowl with Kung pao chicken and I have to say it was mostly chow mein and vegetables but not a lot of chicken. I love Asian food and have been to several really good small restaurants but I don’t think I would come back to this chain restaurant. I don’t think it was a good value for the price.

Too many huge vegetables in the chow mein and hardly any noodles. Their beef is fat and chewy(Broccoli beef). The cashier was rude and didn’t look at either my husband or myself while talking. I asked for chili and she said«well how many do you need?» in a rude tone. They can up their customer service and clean the tables. Orange chicken is good and their fried rice. Upside is they accept military discount. If you want authentic Chinese go to Kwangs palace.

For the last 3 years I have struggled with the portion sizes. They report that it’s out of their control and that its a corporate decision. First, I like that they try to avoid MSG, and the food is good for drive thru fast food. What I don’t like is the portions relative to cost. Because the portions are so small, it could take two; 3 entrée plates to satisfy in a hungry moment. The to go containers are shallow by design. Small portions appear. The portion Size needs to addressed.

Beats all the other fast food asian eats I have been to. It is what it is, fast food but I have no complaints here. seems clean and fast service!

I love panda for some cheap Chinese. Not this one. The food I got here was dry and old. The staff seemed dull and uninterested in us. I would not go back to this panda.

I just got done eating at Panda Express. Before, I thought it was like an American fast food like burgers and french fries. but my friend told me its an Asian fastfood. The restaurant had a delightful ambiance. So far this is the cleanest asian restaurant I’ve ever been. About the food, I put 3 star because I’m telling you they don’t have the best food in Lakewood. But its close by where I work so its easy for me to get food and go back

The eggrolls are good and the food is decent compared to all the other Chinese food I’ve had in Tacoma.(The Chinese food here sucks). I just ate here and found a long blonde hair in my food… Disgusting. Its extra disgusting considering that everyone who works there is Asian and has dark hair…

Panda Express is ‘fast-food’ Chinese: it’s fast, relatively cheap, and generally low quality(think Taco Bell with a panda instead of a chihuahua). When I dined at this Lakewood location the service was quick and the store was clean, but the food was bland, rubbery, and barely warm. Ick. Also, their hot sauce sucks. Ever heard of Sriracha, Panda? How about putting some rooster sauce out instead of the vinegary ketchup packets you call«chili sauce»!? I have to agree with the others who have suggested that the Safeway deli Chinese food is a better value than this place: better food and more of it for about the same price.
