The phở is great. The service is always nice. I especially love the shrimp fried rice !

The food is okay. wish the phở had more meat. The sandwiches are probably the best. Fried rice is okay too, we ordered the combo and the beef was too cooked, it was almost burnt. I had taro bubble tea there and it was the worst. The tapioca was not fresh at all and i just ended up throwing more than half that was left… It was just convenient from where we live but I prefer to travel a 5 more miles to another phở restaurant.

Their phở is great, ad is their yakisoba. I have yet to try other dishes. If you are a vegetarian this restaurant has flavorful offerings! Service is quick, the place is clean. I eat here at least 2 x a month

I think this might be the best in Tacoma. I hadn’t had phở in over a year since I was avoiding it. No lie! So after a jog on a chilly day, I decided to get some phở. It was good for some of the sinus I had too. Normally, I went to phở hoa, but I’m so glad I came here. Ordered a large steak and meatball and it was so good! Broth, meat, huge portion of noodles were fantastic! I thanked the chef, Jay, and the lady who served me named Alex. Guess they are the new owners now too! These guys are the real deal. Their menu is simple and clean, yet have a lot of things to choose from. I know where to bring my church people now after service! Plenty of space inside too. Glad I know a phở place now that will guarantee me a good bowl and a full belly.

Really great place for my family and I to have lunch! I had the potstickers, lemongrass chicken and my wife had the Beef Phở. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious! The place was clean and the service was friendly. Will definitely be back!

My husband and I are from the DFW metroplex, where phở is around every corner. We decided to try this place. At first, we were a little apprehensive; you walk in and it’s empty. The wait staff wasn’t great. Short, quiet, to the point. The wait for food was very reasonable… Not too short to make you wonder how long they had to microwave it, and now long enough to make you check your watch. My husband ordered a shrimp phở, and I, yakisoba with chicken. Both of them were SO fresh. You could tell everything was made to order, NEVER frozen. Every ingredient had a raw, wonderful flavor. We also ordered bubble tea. Again, full and fresh flavor… No complaints. Yum!

Decided to drop in this little phở shop right off Custer Rd and Bridgeport. It was quiet with only one other couple in the shop. We ordered #10×2 which came with all the fixings. It was basically the combination phở. Our food came out fairly quickly and the large order was very large. The portions are very generous and was $ 6.99 for a regular and $ 7.99 for a large. Flavor — pretty good. I’d say a 7⁄10. Clean tasting and not too greasy. The meat was a bit skimpy but the noodles were plentiful. Ambiance — it’s okay. It’s a phở shop. Service — sucked. And it sucked in a sense that they server only came to our table to take our order and to deliver it. That’s it. At this point we were the only ones in the shop. Conclusion — I’d go again if there wasn’t another option.

Had the Phở with no meat. It was very good. The server was friendly and prompt. I will go back!

So I am rating strictly on food, because if I were to do about service it would lower the rating significantly. Man, but the food was soooooooo good I can’t do it. I had the Phở Steak… best hands down and I have had a few. The egg rolls also hands down best Vietnamese rolls I have ever had and the sauce they serve is yummy! It was so good my son who is 5 actually didn’t complain about having to eat his food. The bread mmmmmm is so fresh and crispy on the outside and perfect inside. NEWSPOTFORSURE!

Ordered extra meat for steak, flank, tendon phở at $ 2.95, which almost half the cost for the large bowl ordered. I received portions for a standard medium that would be given at Phở Hoa, Phở Than(closed), Vien Dong, or Wendys II. Other than flank portions which had flavorful fatty sections, the Phở wasn’t that outstanding either. I also ordered their bubble tea which was mostly sugar and had little flavoring. You can tell when restaurants take pride in what they serve, even cheap low cost ones, this is not one of them. I will be sticking with the competition and not returning to this restaurant.

Came on a Tuesday afternoon, after 1 pm & only two other customers in the place. Restaurant was clean & well stocked, as was the restroom. The only two things on the down side — the large screen TV was left to play annoying infomercials. Once the waitress came back eventually(she had disappeared for quite awhile after taking our order), we asked her to just lower the volume but she changed the channel to CNN live news. Wasn’t too keen on watching/listening to coverage of street riots while trying to carry on a conversation. She hadn’t lowered the volume as we had asked, even though no one was watching the TV at all. The other negative thing is that the chairs are very, very uncomfortable — straight back, hard seats, & no lower back support. Now onto the food… My husband ordered the Phở with tofu & he stated it is probably the best he has ever had! I also had a taste & I agree, it was very delicious although served scalding hot. We had to let it cool for quite some time before we could take a bite. The stock was very flavorful, didn’t need to add anything to dress it up. It could have used some more cubes of tofu but I bet the meat versions are even tastier. Will definitely be back to try the other Phở dishes they offer. I ordered the gyoza(pot sticker) appetizer. It was crispy but not overly greasy & the chicken filling was tasty. For my main course I had the pork Bahn Mi sandwich — this was good but honestly, I’ve had better. The pork, while juicy & flavorful, was too salty. The veggies were fresh & crisp but not very much of it to off set the saltiness of the meat. Only one sliver(not a slice, but a thin sliver) of cucumber topped with a small serving of the carrots & daikon radish. There was adequate peppers & cilantro. The bread seemed to be your average run of the mill«sandwich roll». Other places I’ve visited use the fresh French style baguettes(crunchy outside but soft & flaky in the middle). These rolls were pretty much on the side of packaged hoagie rolls you can get at Wal-Mart or Safeway. Overall the experience was a positive one. Lunch for two(no beverages other than ice water) came to just under $ 18 — excellent deal for the amount & quality of food. My husband ordered the medium size Phở & couldn’t finish it so he took half of it home. I finished my appetizer & most of the sandwich. I just couldn’t do the last two bites as the saltiness was overbearing by the end. We recommend this place & will definitely come back again to try other items on their menu :-)

Went here late at night to get some phở. As soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile. The lady said she would be right with me. She took my order just a couple minutes after that. When my food was done(to go order) the cook brought it out to me and asked how my day was and was very friendly. I brought the soup home and it was the best I’ve ever had. Will definitely be back!

Great place, one of my favorites! Nice big portions and very delicious phở. Taro bubble tea with tapioca is what I would recommend, very delicious! this place is very under rated.

Definitely fine, but not the best phở or spring rolls I’ve had. I liked the young kid who was waiting tables. I mean table singular. We were the only customers. This restaurant leaves a lot to be desired in the ambiance department. For example, there was a baseball game on the TV in our section of the restaurant and we could hear cartoons coming from another area. Nice. No one was watching either TV as – again – we were the only customers. The tofu spring rolls had lots of pieces of tofu in them, so that was a plus. The phở was just okay. Kind of overly salty broth. I’m also used to my «steak» phở arriving to the table still pink and rare and it cooks as I stir it into the broth. Not so here. Steak was completely cooked through. Not rare beef as I prefer. It was just not super amazing. Probably won’t be back.

Came here during my lunch break with my co-worker since it’s across from my work. I wasn’t a fan of the spring rolls. The phở was ok. The Thai tea was yummy. Think I’ll try their teriyaki next time.

Alright this place isn’t too shabby. I came in needing my phở craving satisfied and this definitely hit the spot. I’m not one of those people who are critical when they don’t get enough protein the their phở. I enjoy phở for the noodles the broth the meat everything about it but that’s just me. Price wise? It’s about $ 8 for a large and if you think that I’d expensive you probably don’t go out too often if you consider that going to McDonald’s and ordering a meal not on the dollar menu will run you about the same. Would I come back? Maybe if I’m in the area but I wouldn’t say I’d go out of my way to come here. Cheers hope I helped!
