Worst service I have ever had in a bar! Had the bartenders looking over at the 4 of us as they drank shots. After 10 minutes of sitting there and intentionally being ignored we left. We will never go back!

BESTBURGERYOUWILLEVEREATINYOURLIFE!!! The wings, and tacos are amazing too. Chef Trevor Love is a culinary geniius! Lots of amazing shows and bands come through here too. Small little live music venue and bar, with big sound and good food.

This is more of a food review… I came to see a cover band and didn’t have dinner. I wasn’t in the mood for bar food but I decided to give the menu a look. I ordered the Boognish burger(themed for the headlining band Mang) and some wings, and let me tell you my mind was blown. In fact, this is my first Unilocal review, I felt the burger deemed the credit. If you like your burgers let me explain the delicatessen, pan seared chorizo mixed with beef, bacon, tomato, spinach chiffonade, cheddar, sautéed onion, blackberry Dijon mustard, red wine reduction, cooked to perfect. Now, I’m not sure if this is featured all the time but the chef seems to be on point, so whatever they are serving for a burger I’d recommend. If you came to this place and looked at the establishment outside you would not think of a burger like that, it’s divey but I LOVE divey. That’s what makes Cleveland a gem. You never know what you’re walking into and can encounter the best food. PS — wings were good, too, if you like them crispy. They have a bunch of flavor options. The one I chose wasn’t knock-your-shoes-off amazing but I liked the texture and would go with a different flavor. My two pennies.

Hands down the best kitchen we have ever tried. We were touring through with our band, and had a show here, the chef makes customized menu items for the headliner bands and it totally slays. Insane hot wings selection as well, and great priced drinks. This location is a must, if you’re a band on tour, or if you’re in the area and want to stop by for some good food and live music. The Foundry rocks. Hands down.

I enjoyed going to this place when it was the Hi-Fi Club and I have equally enjoyed attending it as the Foundry. Good metal shows, TVs to follow the local sports game in between bands, cool staff, convenient location, usually a good amount of parking(the only exception being perhaps when the Phantasy complex across the street is having a big night at the same time as the Foundry). They make some very weird recipe but totally killer burgers and grilled sandwiches here.(They also serve wings but I haven’t ordered any so can’t speak to that.) The burgers are excellent — in Lakewood they pretty much have to be in order to compete with the 20 other foodie burger joints in town. As an example, the last Foundry burger I had involved a chorizo/garlic/beef burger with maple bourbon glaze, spinach, tomato and cajun aioli served with spiced fries. It was about a 10 dollar burger which was reasonable for what you got, but might be more than what some folks want to pay for bar food. The beer selection is nowhere near as extensive as several of the other music bars in the immediate area, but I can usually find something decent that doesn’t come in a can. I made this a four star rather than five star primarily because I think some of the comfortable seating that the Hi Fi used to have was either removed, or moved to areas along the walls and front of the club. The problem being that you cannot easily see the band from most of the bench seats now. It used to be nice to sit on a comfy couch and still be able to see the band, and most of the shows are not so crowded that one really needed more open space.

I’ve been to the Foundry plenty of times, just because they still have good bands that play. Unfortunately they’re overpriced and the bartenders aren’t the friendliest. They never had any drink specials when I was there. Good beers are $ 6. The sound in there is decent-depending on the sound guy!
