It’s great for what it is, at least on Sundays for Steelers games. Basically, a tiny sliver of the incredible Steelers Nation. Love the IC Light and perogios. The owner sits comfortably in the middle of the fray DJ’ing Steelers hits and doling out mid-game shots like the Steel Curtian gives out sacks. The other guests with us said the salads and burgers were okay, but we weren’t there to eat. Haven’t tried the wings or other apps, but the tater tots were being sold in high volumes from what I could see. We will be back throughout the football season and future ones.

A great neighborhood bar. The service is great and the atmosphere is nice(for a Steelers bar, haha). The food is standard bar fare, the music is pretty great, and they have regular music/DJ’s.

This place sucks. The day bartender is the rudest person you can imagine. Way over priced. Don’t spend your money there.

This is a great place to enjoy a Wednesday evening Blue’s jam. The food is really great also, check this place out if you love good food and great blues with Eric Boa

I’m convinced the nicest people work here. From taking the time to apologize for my food order being delayed to seeing I don’t like orange on my beer after I took it off the first time, this place is customer service focused in a way I haven’t seen in a while.

I wet here for a couple beers during rush/happy hour and was quite impressed. I went in and the waitress, a very nice lady in her late 40’s who made us feel more than welcome. She was actually one of the nicest waitresses I’ve had in a long time. I go the quesadilla which had a great deal of vegetables in it since I opted to not have meat. My friend went for the«rocky mountain oysters.» He said they were actually real good. I already want to go back as we came here during a snowstorm and would love to see this place when it is nice and sunny out.

I love this little dive. Always good food,(mushroom caps,) always good service and cheap beer. What more does one need?!

Tried this place a few times. I always have slow service and they never seem very friendly. Even though this bar is walking distance from my house I would rather pay for a cab and go elsewhere than go there again.

I’ve been here several times to meetup with friends. They have fantastic live music, food and on Thursday nights they have Rock N Roll bingo. It’s a dive bar people, set your expectations as such.

The Rusty Bucket is always a trusted stop for happy hour, a snack, a meal, a Steelers game, or pretty crazy people watching. I always sit in the back because there is clearly a group of regulars that monopolize the front room for happy hour. I would«complain» that they are always there, but I have to be there too, to see that they’re there, so it will make me seem like a bar-fly regular too. I have not had anything bad on the menu. The chips and salsa are absolutely delicious(and I usually add ranch too). I have literally had all of the appetizers on happy hour, and there is nothing I wouldn’t order again. The salads are good, the burger is great, and their specials are always worth a try. I have never had bad service. Ever. The staff is very friendly and personable, and typically remember what I drink when I show up! The place is clean, but I am not overly impressed with the bathrooms. It is a dive bar though. Parking is always ample, TV’s are well located and always have something of interest on. I have not been there for live music, but have heard good things. Seriously funky people watching. Everything from older couples who are there hunkered down in a booth for A glass of wine and dinner, to youngins, who I swear aren’t old enough to drink. It is a great day-drinking establishment. The patio is okay, but is just on the fringe of another parking lot — and always filled with smokers.(No offense, smokers — just not my thing.) The prices are right, and the vibe is definitely fun! It is always worth a stop at the Rusty Bucket!

I like this place. I chill neighborhood bar and grill. Food is ok. It’s bar food. It’s worth a drive if you don’t want to travel into downtown or anywhere higher profile.

I love the Rusty Bucket! I’m so happy that there is a Steeler bar here in the Denver area. When my folks are in town, we always go to watch games and have a great time. They have a bunch of TVs, play Steelers music and the Pittsburgh Polka during commercial breaks, and they serve pierogies and the famous Primanti sandwich. The food and drinks are reasonably priced, and the staff is super friendly. Definitely hit this place up if you’re from Steeler Country!

The food here is better than you would expect. More of a dive type bar so don’t come for the atmosphere. Ok beer selection, but not great. But the beers are fresh and cold.

Avoid it. We went there on a Friday night. It was busy but not packed. We waited 15 min before anyone even greeted us at our table. Eventually, we ordered some food(it was just OK bar food… there should have been more chicken strips for the price) and a few drinks. We were informed that their systems were down so it was taking a little longer, completely understandable. What is not understandable is that once the charge on my credit card went through it was not the amount that I had signed for. I called to have it corrected and instead of apologizing and offering to fix it I was given an excuse that since the system was down they didn’t have the tax figured in the total. I’m sorry, who’s fault was it that their management didn’t give the servers the correct information about tax rates and how to add it on? Mine? I don’t think so. I’m shocked that someone would even think about arguing with a customer instead of just apologizing and fixing it. Rusty Bucket: It is NOTLEGAL to charge someone’s credit card for a different amount than they signed for. We will not be back.

We happened to be visiting the Denver area for the Steelers game(from Pittsburgh). We were excited to find a Steelers bar where we could watch the game. The service was ABSOLUTELYHORRIBLE. We had a waitress for awhile(who showed up occasionally and seemed to be in a bad mood) who then abandoned our table completely at some point(would’ve been nice to at least be told we should go order at the bar from then on). We tried to go order at the bar, only to get yelled at several times about apparently being in the«wrong place». We tried to order food… a server told us she’d be right over, and 30 minutes later still hadn’t come by. We tried to order a half-size order of wings(which is on the menu), but we were told that’s not allowed. Well, maybe it would be a good idea to REMOVEFROMYOURMENU if that’s the case. We chose to not leave a tip(since, you know, tips are based on service). Once the one woman saw that(who by the way never served us at our table or got us drinks or anything), she came over to literally yell at us about not tipping and demand to know why we didn’t tip. Did she think this would actually get her/them a tip? I do not appreciate being accosted by a server demanding to know why I didn’t tip. Do your job; then you’ll earn tips. This was the worst service I have ever had INMYENTIRELIFE. I would NEVER, EVER go back to this place and highly recommend you DONOTEVERGO either.

Lakewood is starving for non-chain establishments and the Rusty Bucket fits in with its surroundings. In a part of town that has every single chain restaurant around, the Rusty Bucket cultivates a style that is truly… Lakewood. The food is pub-fare, however, it has a homemade aspect to it. The chicken strips are hand cut and cooked to perfection. The Spinach Artichoke dip and Pittsburgh Sandwich are unique and one of a kind. You can’t beat the fact that they serve until almost 2AM every night either!

not sure if three stars is the correct rating, but here goes… Food was just okay, nothing spectacular, but still decent. Service was actually better than expected. Drink refills were prompt, and food came out hot. New silverware came with app and entrée, and napkins were always being passed around. When we arrived I asked what they recommended, and stuck to those choices. So I enjoyed my burger okay. My dinner companion strayed off list and wasn’t thrilled with his choice. So I guess staying to the Bucket List is a good idea.

This, place is ummmmmmmmmm interesting. After 5 visits, I’m still not sure what to make of it. What a mix of people… live music, patio, golden tee, hockey, golf, Steelers, NYFD and there is probably a leprechaun in there somewhere that I don’t know about. Something in my gut wants to love this place, but I’ve yet to find my niche. Maybe it’s because I’ve only been on weekend nights. Maybe it’s because it’s always been crowded and the weird bar shape makes a good portion of the seating awkward. Maybe because it’s always been cold and I have not used the patio. Maybe it’s because the beer selection isn’t great. I’m not really sure what it is, but I know I’ll be back to find out… in fact give me one second, I’ll report back.
