Despite being the newest and best looking Walgreens in the area, this one has some, dare I say, lazy employees! 3 out of 5 times I visited, the advertised items didn’t have the sale tags to reflect the discounted prices. So naturally the wait time in the line is longer — last visit I paid, I was first in line, but the gal at the register was so busy «reading» something she did not even look up to greet me until I started edging more and more inward of her peripheral sight (I knew she sensed me but she didn’t want to detach from her reading material!). Having to explain to them something is actually on sale that week according to the paper is also wasting time. Sigh. I could only comfort myself by thinking, well, there’s more item availability for me if other customers didn’t think they were on sale…

Got a prescription filled here a few days ago. The pharmacist’s assistant was very friendly. The cashier up front was very rude. Just don’t buy anything but your meds from these folks.

Most cashiers here conduct themselves professionally but there is just one cashier who is absolutely disrespectful. The most disrespectful cashier hands down. Instead of a simple… ’ I can take the next customer’, the cashier looks at you as you wait in line and curls one index finger repeatedly gesturing you to to come to the register. Are you kidding me? I’m your customer not some one that you gesture rudely to and get away with. I’ve seen this particular cashier being rude and hurrying customers, who of course want to just get the experience of horrible customer service over with-​they shoot out the door and they could be spending much more money if they were treated with professionally. One day I just wanted some cash back, this same cashier was unhelpful, rude and seemed in a hurry… FOR WHAT? There was no one behind me, yet she was in a HURRY. It is sad to see people, who are so unfriendly and rude at a local pharmacy, I’m moving my business elsewhere.

This shop took over a crazy looking structure near Belmar.
It is across Alameda, had a way to access it from Wadsworth through a break in the median, or from Alameda at a light.
It is large, and the staff is friendly.
The set up of the aisles… i’m not a fan.
They are not all in a row like normal walgreens, some are perpendicular to others.
The makeup ailse sadly faces large windows that seem to make everything there very hot, and i know i would not want to purchase anything from that part of the store.
There is a decent selection but it seems other stores have a much larger selection of different things.
It’s a good place to pop in for the occasional item, but not a destination for me.

I do seem to agree with the previous reviews posted.
It almost seems that the WalGreens Corporate Guru’s took a look at nearby Belmar and all of it’s sleek Euro-​Style and decided to «Level-​Up».
Good Job WalGreens Corporate Gurus !
The only thing missing from this store would be covered parking and shopping cart escalators– as seen in nearby Super Target.
I must admit I also am a bit confused at the assortment of park benches configured at the entrance but am very happy at the overall upgrade and shopping experience over their now abandoned Sheridan location.

Dude.
It’s big. It’s clean. The aisles are wide.
And their sales (with their loyalty card) beat the pants off prices at Walmart, Target, and the other usual suspects.

BIG NEW AND BRIGHT! Almost too bright. I dig Walgreen and this one has an expanded food area which is huge (Is it viable with a King Soopers next door??)
But this store replaces the ghetto-​fest that was the old Walgreens at Sheriden and Alameda. BRAVO!

This Walgreens has a sweet layout and looks bigger than most.
This is definitely a new Walgreens that has been built. Its bigger than most. Nice Wide Aisles. Brightly lit up. Nice big display signage above the aisle. Well stocked and clean. And really friendly employees. Plus they have seating around the building. Not sure why you would want to sit around and hang out. But stranger things have happened.
