I love beer. This place has a lot of beers, on an ever-changing list that differs daily. Some are pretty expensive, but you probably get what you pay for. No food, which sucks, but there are plenty of places nearby that can fill your stomach. Staff is reasonably nice. Only thing that sucks is the overall location. Belmar has become tightly-packed, and the wide-open parking lots have been covered with buildings, so parking can be a bit tricky. Whatever, not their fault.

This WOB is in a grerat location with an open, inviting seating area. the staff is really friendly here. I don’t need to talk about the tap list because it’s insane. Definitely worth checking out if you love beer and ciders. Prices really depend on what drinks you order, some beers are expensive and you can also go cheap. Don’t expect to come to this place and leave on a full stomach, it’s a bring your own food establishment. that’s right pack up your bologna sandwich chips and pickle and walk on in. The World of beer is wainting for you.

Great staff who make you want to come back! They are very friendly and have a great atmosphere. No kitchen for food to order but you are able to order food from outside restaurants who will deliver! Enjoy the great beers

Tyler is the best. Always happy and definitely knows his stuff. We will go for good brew and sports. If you need food they have a take out menu and this is our place to avoid all the crazy lines of the other restaurants in BelMar. Order he food… They deliver… And keep drinking your beer.

The convenience of a cities worth of micro-breweries under one roof! I compare World of Beer to somewhat of a «sampler flight» to all the beer that is available locally and globally. Nothing will every beat going to a local micro brewery and having a fresh craft beer, however, WOB is all about bringing those tastes and flavors under one roof. When you walk in it has somewhat of a Buffalo Wild Wings feel. It has a very commercial bar vibe, which isn’t a bad thing at all, it’s just not as unique or quaint as a micro brewery. I’ve never been to one that sells food, however they normally provide menu’s of local restaurants located nearby so you can call in and order and bring it back(they have no problem with you eating there!!!). Their staff is normally pretty nice and knowledgeable as well. I’ve had some awesome recommendations come from them. There’s normally live music(at least at the one located in Belmar) on Friday and Saturday nights and last year at halloween they had a costume contest(that my fiancée and her friends won!) and gave out prizes! Overall, if you’re in the mood for some good beer without the hassle and hustle of driving downtown and fighting to find parking, WOB is a great option and always provides a good time!

My husband and I like to stop off at WOB after a sushi dinner. We’ve had many pleasant encounters with the staff, most recently, Michele, and introduced to beer we didn’t know about. Everyone should try a new beer now and then, WOB will let you do it for free-no brainier!

If you want to try something other than bud light or Coors, definitely check this place out. The only thing they need to do is chill their glasses and this place would be perfect!

Great Beer Selection. Could use more staff as you can spend an awful lot of time waiting especially for your first beer. It is nice that you can bring in outside food/order delivery to the restaurant from any of the surrounding restaurants. Definitely recommend downloading the app as it is more up to date than the menus.

What a great place! Friendly bar staff and the best selection of beers anywhere in town for sure. The selection is always changing which keeps it fun. A great patio to sit with your dog and have a good pint.

Love World of Beer! The staff are great with recommendations and guidance. They have an excellent selection of national and local beers on tap — which is great for the promotion of local brew houses. All and all — WOB is a fun time and a great way to try lots of beers to find new tasty ones that you like. Try the samplers and have the staff help you make your choice — otherwise you’ll be reviewing the list for hours because they have so many options. BTW they don’t do food, but they are great about letting order from surrounding restaurants. So check out some new beers and grab some food from a neighbor!(A restaurant neighbor, not a neighbor at a table. LOL.)

I used to like this place a lot. But they never have updated menus, they are always out of the beers I want, and when they have live music. It’s WAYYY too loud. I enjoy the patio and how dog friendly it is. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly which is great. It’s for sure my go-to in Belmar, but if you advertise how many beers you have. Have them in stock!

I heard some bad things about WOB, but I merry some friends here and I really like it. They have an awesome selection of beers, and prices are not terrible. They have a great patio and trivia on Wednesday nights. One thing I really appreciate is they don’t give nondrinkers a hard time. I’ve been to bars where the DD gets miserable service, but not here. No food served, but you can bring in your own or order from neighboring locations.

Yes, it is a chain restaurant/bar but what a great beer selection and I’ve always found their staff to be friendly and beer knowledgeable. They feature some great happy hour specials and if watching sports while drinking is your thing then you will love all the TVs they have inside. I prefer the patio when the weather is nice as their are no TVs and some great people watching. No food is a bummer. Yes, you can order food delivered from other local restaurants but eating from a styrofoam box while drinking a nice Belgian beer just feels wrong. I would love to see them add just a basic appetizer menu(hummus, cheese plates). Dogs are allowed and though i don’t think it is necessary to take my dog drinking with me, except when I need a designated driver, I understand some people’s need to do so. For the most part the dogs like most of the patrons are well behaved. If you are a regular beer drinker and plan on being here a lot then it also makes sense to sign up for their loyalty card as it will get you discounts and free swag. Adding some quality food choices would get this place five stars in my book

What originally drew us to stop by was the reviewer who was complaining about dogs being allowed in the patio area. I immediate thought A) That guy must be tons of fun B) I’m going to that place right now There are plenty of places that don’t allow dogs, and very few that do… so to that guy I say, «There’s an Applebees down the street». Anyway I’m glad he did give a poor review or I might have missed this place nestled right in the mall area. Great TV’s with a good view of the game from anywhere in the place. Open, airy seating(on this nice day it was open to the patio) and more beer than Oktoberfest… not to mention super knowledgeable staff. I loved the app that allows you to find your beer by Country/Color/Type/Strength etc. otherwise you’d just be paralyzed by the sheer options available. A+ all around. I was there on the 4th of July, but I think everytime I go I’ll chant USAUSAUSA… while drinking a German Dunkel Weiss. Well played World of Beer!

I enjoyed this place. As a total beer hater, that says something! It’s a sports bar kind of feel, seat yourself place. They have over 150 beers for your friends that you know absolutely loooove the stuff. My favorite part of the menu is the final page. They have a page that says-«Not everybody likes beer and that’s ok. That just means more for us.» Yay for the wine list! I had a great glass of moscato. they serve 6 oz and 9 oz glasses. The staff is rather intriguing. I thought the service was great. The waiter we had was very knowledgable, friendly, and absolutely hilarious. Great service, non-beer, and clean bathrooms means I’m making all my beer friends drink here from now on.
