So our experience here has been very interesting. To start off I was greeted kinda odd like by the dark haired women. Finally things started to go more smoothly when a wonderful waiter called Reid that has only worked here for 3 days, came to the rescue and put two tables to gather with a big smile and started to help us and took our order. Reid even offered to go to the grocery store to get lemons for our water because they ran out. Johe the Manager is AWESOME, he took charge of the food ordering and then we started to enjoy our tea time. Kudos to Johe & Reid ! …

I have become a huge fan of their tea and the great selection. Recently the customer service and tea selection has suffered due to poor management. I drove over to find the store closed due to personnel shortage, my favorite tea has been out of stock for days, the worst was on mothers day it was a mess. The employees were rude and untrained. My favorite employees are gone… tells me problem is management. Customers will not put up with this…

Hosted a small family(12 people) baby shower here in January. Had a wonderful time. The pre-ordered High Tea trays were excellent and the brownies and lemon bars on the dessert tray were mouthwatering. The 2 teas we chose were delicious. Worked with the manager via phone and email to set up the party. The staff decorated and set everything up perfectly and even gave us to-go boxes when we did not eat everything. Had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this place for tea and snacks or small gatherings(plan ahead as they do not have the full café here.) Had tea here also a couple times and ate from their small deli selection. The pear/walnut salad and turkey sandwich(grilled) panini were excellent. They will even plate selections for you so you don’t have to eat it out of a box. The tea selection is amazing and every type I have tried(even the free samples) were delicious.

I love tea and was a big fan of The Press which was in this storefront prior to Wystone’s moving in. The Press had an amazing jasmine tea so I was incredibly disappointed when it closed, but decided to try Wystone’s when it moved in. Like many tea shops, the tea is overpriced for individual cups of tea. Bulk tea is definitely a more reasonable option. While I’m not opposed to occasionally splurging and paying $ 4 for a cup of tea, when doing so I expect to have a great cup of tea and unfortunately I have not had that experience at Wystone’s. I’ve tried a couple varieties of their jasmine teas and none have the smooth floral flavor I’ve come to expect from a good jasmine tea. Service is also a bit hit or miss. There are times when the staff immediately begins brewing the tea after I order and other times where they stand and chat with each other for several minutes before beginning the brewing process. Last time I went, I waited over ten minute for my tea and no one had been in front of me in line. I would understand a bit of a wait if they had others to serve, but it seemed a bit ridiculous on a slow business day. Wystone’s is a fine place to meet a friend for a cup of coffee or tea, but it will not be a place I would choose to go to on my own.

I used to live in Lakewood and I loved this spot and went all the time. I was in this part of town yesterday and had to stop in. I’m obsessed with tea so the fact that they have so many loose leaf options is amazing. Also you can bag some loose leaf tea so you can also make some at home. My favorite tea there is the Seven Treasures tea which is a mixture of green and white teas. Also if you need to study or get some work done or even just want to relax with a good book this is a great spot.

Great coffee selections, lots of options, including French macaroon and amaretto. Have I mentioned you can also spoke your coffee if you wish? Yup! This is a pretty hip spot. I haven’t tried the tea there, but the coffee is worth the price tag. I’d pick this over Starbucks any day of the week!

This is my go to for breakfast or brunch when I don’t feel like eggs and bacon. I bring friends here. They make the best chai latte and their quiche is my favorite. It’s a good size quiche! Cool mellow vibe and they always have the best music playing. They have boba drinks that I still have yet to try. It has that added attraction of parking convenience of a garage just next to it. Otherwise street parking are cheap! It’s relaxing atmosphere is just right. Natural light shines thru everywhere and if you’re like me and you love that sh** then this is your place! Nice place to get your coffee and work on your lap top. Strong wifi. I hang here to do my work myself. Service with a smile. You order. Find a table. Have a sit. They will bring your order to you! They have a «Brew of the Day» outside for you to try just in case you happen to walk by. I have seen a little tea party yesterday and they have the most adorable pastries. A couple of tables outside.

Ordered a plain, black iced tea expecting them to have some on-hand and ready to serve. They don’t have anything prepared, so they have to steep it hot and then pour over ice which takes 10+ minutes depending on how many drinks need to be made before yours. Also, prices are pretty high for teas and coffees. Over $ 4 for a plain, unsweetened iced tea is not what I was expecting.

I LOVETHISPLACE! I’m a full time manager at one of the retail stores in Belmar and I can not get through the day with out Wystones. The staff is so friendly and amazing, they have never messed up a drink for me and always have great recommendation. Even more then that though everything is priced decently and the variety it HUGE!!! Don’t waste your time or money at a Starbucks go to wystones!

Belmar needed a spot like this. Coffee, tea, beverages, you name it. In fact, they have a ton of flavors and can whip up pretty much anything. They are known for teas, and be prepared to wait a bit to receive yours, hot or cold. They let it steep appropriately and then serve it in a different cup. The way you’re supposed to! I believe the location changed in the last short while, as I recall their location being near the Dick’s Sporting Goods. No matter – it’s now near Elephant Bar, and there is a huge parking lot right across the street. The ambiance is nothing cozy or with a neighborhood feel. This is definitely a coffee shop with the shopping center feel. That said, the three ladies working were extremely nice and the shop does have wifi(free and no password required!). Tables accommodate between 2 and 6, and there are a few outdoor tables available in front of the store too. The pastry case looks like it has some really delectable treats. I didn’t try anything, but you have options of pastries, sandwiches, and other treats.

The staff is always so courteous and kind at Wystone’s! I love that they have more than just your standard coffee offerings and recently had their green tea lemonade. It wasn’t too sweet and had a perfect balance of flavors. The atmosphere is always calm so you can come in and get work done; I love that they also have plenty of outlets to plug in laptops, iPads, etc. Park in the free parking garage just next door to save money!

WiFi didn’t work nor did the workers try to fix it. Was in a hurry to get on a meeting for work, so scarfed down the food, left the drink and went to Target for the WiFi. I try to support local shops when working away from the office, but I can’t risk not being able to do my work. Burrito was good, the Americano wasn’t, so I didn’t feel too bad about leaving the drink except for the cost.

Visiting family from out of state, but I’m definitely a fan of Wystone’s. I normally get espresso drinks, and they’re always quite nice. Perhaps a little more expensive than what I’m used to back in the midwest? But that’s fair. Staff is very friendly and patient, and the décor is nice. I’m only giving 4 stars though because the atmosphere is overall, somewhat lacking. It’s a bit big, open, and bright for a tea/coffee shop, and there really aren’t a good number of accessible outlets. Still though. If atmosphere doesn’t matter to you? Then you’ll definitely be satisfied with the service.

Oh, I wanted to love this place so much. Since I worked across the street, I sort of longed for that coffee shop I could call my own, but Wystone just didn’t do it for me. Granted, their specialty is tea, but I feel this shop has a lot of potential that it just isn’t taking advantage of. The space seems much too big for what they offer – it seems very«cold,» open and empty, like they could benefit from some interior designing. Food offerings could be more robust as well. They always seemed to be low on pastries. Wystone’s liquid cacao makes delicious«hot chocolate»(ask them to make it with half-and-half, absolutely decadent!). Always free samples of tea at the door, so try before you buy!

I’ve been both to this location as well as their old location just a block or so down in Belmar. Originally they had a full breakfast lunch menu along with the huge variety of teas. However, since their new move they’ve gotten rid of their full food menu which I really enjoyed and has since only served a daily soup of the day, a breakfast burrito, and a small array of pastries, fruit cups, and cold cut boxed sandwiches. On this particular day we went in for a quick breakfast. We ordered two breakfast burritos(only $ 2 each!) And a medium iced dirty chai and a medium latte. The burritos are not made then and there– they come from another distributor and are heated up– which I have no qualms with whatsoever. However all in all it took 20 – 25 minutes to receive all our food and drinks. … I’ve gone to places that served full menus and it’s taken less time to have your freshly made food be served. There was only one person working. We witnessed a group of customers come and leave after not being even acknowledged for 5 – 10 minutes. Overall the service was slow and seemed to lacked any knowledge of how exactly to run a restaurant let alone one that was even somewhat busy. The burritos weren’t bad– Quite large and filling for being just $ 2/each. However they had no salsa, hot sauce, or even ketchup. Overall, not worth the time or even the money saved.

Really average coffee shop, with a great selection of TEAS. This is a great place to get a variety of really quality loose teas from around the world. The restaurant itself is really not cozy(VERYDRAFTY in the winter) or conducive to an afternoon tea with a friend for chit chat, or even for working on your laptop. The food is conventional and unimaginative and on my restricted diet, there was NOTHING I could eat. I had a soy latte with cinnamon steamed in, and chatted with my friend. in my coat and scarf.

I’ve been here before several times and got the regular lattes, always pretty good. I had been wanting to try the apple latte because it sounded so good but thwy were always out of the ingredients. I finally got it, and I would not recommend it, just stick to the regular latte. I know everyone has individual taste but I did not like this one. Because the ratings for restaurants are affected by the latest ratings, so I am leaving it at a 4, but if it was just based on this drink it would be a 1 or 2.
