WELOVETHEFOOD!!! From the delicious meatballs that taste just like your nonna makes them, to the mouthwatering paninis, the salads & soups, cannolis, this place is an «Italian Jewel» in the heart of Lambertville NJ. We don’t live close so when we visit Lambertville we make sure to get a few quarts of the homemade soups like Pasta Fagoli, Pasta & Peas, the paninis & of course the«Meatballs» to bring home! Di Napoli’s is always packed because not only is the food incredible, the family is too! Tom & Danielle, along with their sons Danny & Tommy are the nicest people you could meet. You feel like part of their family when you’re there! Take the trip from wherever you are, you won’t be disappointed! It’s like visiting grandma on a Sunday! Buon Appetito The Panzarella’s

Stopped in for a grilled vegetable panini for lunch. Happy to say that it was a step above your typical sandwich, with more interesting ingredients like broccoli rabe and smoked provolone. They even cooked the eggplant really well, and the panini bread was even crusted with Parmesan cheese for a nice flavorful crunch.

Best meat ball in Jersey!!! Ordered«The bomb!» The meatball was flavorful, soft and delicious. And the sauce was tasty also. The bread was crispy and perfect. Bonus: the owner and his son are super nice, and personable too!

What more can I say about this little gem that I found on Unilocal other than its great. The owner Tom was very friendly and talked to this southern boy for awhile about his family and his store that recently got voted«Best Meatball» In Jersey. Great place with all of the comforts of an Italian deli. Meats hanging from the ceiling and Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra play over the speakers really set the mood of this place. I ordered the Arugula salad and«The Bomb»(Meatball Sub). The salad came out fresh and plentiful. Fresh shaved parm with a nice Lemon and Olive Oil dressing. Next was the Bomb which his a hearty meatball sub on fresh bread and melted cheeses. Overall this was a great place and I would recommend stopping by for a snack or a To-Go sandwich anytime. I expect great things from this place to come.

Hands down the best meatball sandwich on the planet at this time. Only my grandmother would have been able to make one this good but now that she is no longer with us, this is the only place to go to for the perfect meatball sandwich. The cheese they use is so fresh and yummy. The roll is perfect! Just go and get one right now.

Just had the cannoli after reading reviews about how great it was. I am planning on trying one of their sandwiches later but for now this is just about the cannoli. Couple things. The cannoli is not the best I’ve had by any means. It is not bad but not near the beast. Also considering the size of it and it being priced over 5 dollars makes it even less impressive. I did notice the rest of the food is quite pricey and I am fine with that it the quality and taste justify it so I will be back to try something other than the cannoli. I was going to get a meatball until I saw the a lady get six meatballs and it rang up 16 dollars without sauce so I decided not to as I was not that hungry. I did try a sample of the celery and bean soup and it was delicious so maybe the other items justify the high price. TBD.

Nothing compares to an exquisitely made Italian cold cut sandwich except maybe a meatball Bomb made with love. DiNapolis delivered both with a friendly smile and conversation. Voted Best Meatball in New Jersey and well deserved. My prosciutto and soppresata sandwich was delicious. The cannoli was the perfect finish to this experience. Thank you! We’ll be back.

Great little lunch spot. Came for the roast pork but they didn’t have today. We got the meatballs and roast beef instead. Meatballs were soft and delicious. Roast beef was very flavorful. The staff was very friendly will deff be back to try the pork. They have a small counter with 4 stools and tables outside.

Stopped here to grab a quick bite, and was very satisfied. I had their prosciutto panini and for a little dessert, I had a cannoli and an espresso. Definitely coming back!

Absolutely awesome! Best paninis around. Best cannoli I’ve had outside of Italy. Small family owned deli style eatery. Great find in a great town.

Wow! As other reviewers have mentioned the place is extremely clean, simple, and nicely decorated. The staff is caring, passionate, and all about the customer. Food is fresh and delicious. I tried two paninis — the pizza one and the fresh mozzarella w/tomatoes and arugula. Both were delicious. Crunchy and savory toasted bread. The one thing you absolutely cannot leave without is a cannoli. The absolute best cannolis I’ve ever consumed.

1) INCREDIBLEQUALITYINGREDIENTS 2) AUTHENTICNONNY-LIKEOFFERINGS, 3) SPOTLESS(eat off the floor) CLEAN with 4) INCREDIBLYWARMCUSTOMERSERVICE Truly, I’m not sure you can ask for anything more from an Italian deli… Ask any of the owners,(especially Tom Sr) about any item or ingredient on the menu and you will get the story behind that product/item that will show you how much passion was put into that product. Whether it’s the recipe for the award winning(BEST in NJ) meatballs(his Mothers recipe from every Sunday morning) to where Tom sources his meats for the meatballs(a special place in Philly). But it doesn’t matter which product you inquire about, you WILL get an answer that tells you that the DiNapoli’s CARE and have a passion. Like I said — this is Nonna/Nonny quality food — ’nuff said. Seriously spotless clean — you will get this vibe from your 1st step inside the door. Again, ’nuff said. Amazing Customer service — whether it Tommy D or Danielle(parents) or their 2 boys, Danny & Tommy, you will be made to feel like they care about you and your experience. I can go into individual food items, but I’ve already droned in enough… and, based on what I’ve already said, just order whatever catches you fancy — you’ll love it.

Superb. Really really good. My wife had the roast beef & provolone sandwich. I had the bomb.(Meatball sandwich) both were excellent. The place is clean. The staff go out of their way to please. There are only a few tables outside & a small counter inside. So it’s more a take out but we ate there outside and it was great. Price wise is a little on the high side. But your getting quality. So the extra dollar is not a big deal. Go there. You won’t be disappointed. I’ll definitely be back.

WOW!!! If you want to go to a place and feel like family(with out all the PIA family members) this is it! This is where you can get one of the best hoagies or one of the famous meatball sandwich’s you have ever had. You can’t go wrong with this place. We drive ½ hour just for the sandwich, we must pass 15 restaurants that can offer the same thing but there is nothing like DiNapoli’s! The only issue is seating, it is very limited, but the owners(who are the nicest people you ever want to meet) will always find a place for you to eat. If it is a nice day out you can find a bench and enjoy your meal in this great town.

We stopped at DiNapoli prior to heading to see The Jamestown Duo at the Logan Inn on the New Hope side after doing a Google search for a quick-service restaurant. The menu sounded pretty good and I expected an average deli. We walked in and we were immediately greeted warmly by Danielle DiNapoli. We ordered some coffee drinks served on cute glassware and she gave us complimentary Sambuca and Anisette in them. She said it would be just enough to make it taste extra special — and she was right! My husband and cousin both opted for ‘The Bomb’, meatball sub. My picky self ordered the Grilled Vegetable Panini, with no peppers and fresh mozzarella in place of provolone. We’ll get back to that in a moment… While we waited, Danielle gave us biscotti to dip in our coffee drinks, explained how all their food is homemade, and told us about her family’s adventures in Italy. Then, Tom gave us a sample of their famous pasta fagiole soup. My cousin commented how it tasted better than our first generation Italian-American Grandmother’s and I told him to be quiet because she might find out! Danielle also gave us a taste of the cannoli and I wish we had saved room to get one after dinner! Once we got our food, we headed out to one of the little tables on the porch named«The Sinatra». It was unseasonably cold, but the heat lamp kept us warm. Tom even came out to adjust the lamp and make sure we were warm enough. Danielle stood outside to watch the guys take their first bite of «The Bomb», which they said was amazing… So, of course I had to try for myself and it definitely was! Our food was also served on very pretty plateware. My panini was also made exactly how I requested and was toasted to perfection! We don’t live near DiNapoli, but we’ve already told all our family and friends near the area and will certainly be back next time we’re around New Hope!

Tom & Dani’s meatballs will make you weep. House-aged provolone was awesome. Next time I’m back, I’m grabbing some chianti, the cheese and a container of meatballs. Then I’m going to find a spot to sit with my girl down by the canal where I will experience my guido-nirvana and probably ruin my shirt. I haven’t tried the pork but I’m such a John’s Roast Pork fan(So Phiily) that I won’t worry about comparisons. I’ve always been a fan of a great meatball anyway, and they NAILIT! and I don’t mind paying a couple of extra bucks for this level of quality. Imported Locatelli and good meat doesnt grow on trees. Go to Wawa ya cheapskates!
