This is probably our favorite wine store in the area. We live about 30 minutes away but we frequent Lambertville often and always stop in. We typically find the«harder-to-find» wines here as well as experience some great new ones. Really love the wooden floors and wine racks they use to display the bottles. We rarely leave there empty handed. We typically go on the weekends and the weekend staff is much more friendly and knowledgable than my last visit on a weekday. I had called ahead looking for a specific wine and was told they had it in stock. When I arrived, they told me they didn’t have it in stock. I explained I literally just called and was told it was here. He eventually went downstairs and found two bottles for me. Good save on his part, but we will stick to our weekend visits moving forward.

I came in here the other day with my family and I received world class service. I needed a cold bottle of prosecco, and a shorter gentleman with glasses proceeded to get me a bottle from the«cold box». He was extremely polite as was another gentleman who rang up my purchase. After I purchased the bottle of prosecco I walked into the wine/beer room they had next door and boy was I in for a surprise! The selection of beer and wine was outstanding. They had wines from the US, Italy, South America, France and a few others. I will definitely be back to pick up a bottle next time I’m in Lambertville!

Went there 10 minutes before closing on a Friday night and the door was locked. A guy inside hesitated but finally opened the door and asked if we were making a cash purchase. We said yes and as we walked in to get what we wanted, an employee yelled at us to «Hurry Up!» Horrible way to run a business = close early and then snap at customers! We turned around and left. Take your business elsewhere. We won’t be back. Go to Walker’s instead:

This is my favorite wine store, taking up two old storefronts right in the middle of town. You can tell them what wine you want in a certain price range, and their answers are fast and excellent. Small but good selection of upscale spirits, and I was able to taste a wonderful floral gin I’d never heard of before. Good array of bubbly, and they always seem to be featuring exactly what I am looking for, like dry rose in the summer. There is a LOT chilling for you, much more than the two coolers you will see in the wine room, so just ask. You will love the beer selection here too. Lambertville is already a good town for wine, but you can pick up a bottle here and then head to one of the best BYOBs ever across the bridge in New Hope, Sprig & Vine.

Wonderful World of WIne is located«on the Square» in downtown Lambertville. A lovely old building and they occupy 2 storefronts. It offers a full selection of liquor, a really large variety of beers, and of course wine! The staff is always willing to help, but also lets one browse to ones heart content. The wines are arranged by country of origin, and they have a sampling that covers the globe. As for beer — they have a good mix of mass produced, imports and micro brews. They also sell cheese from DiBrunos. Wonderful World of WIne is open unitl 9:00 pm and is a great spot to stop before going to one of Lambertville’s BYOBs. I have really enjoyed the wine tasting they have the last Wednesday of the month. SIgn up for e mails when you stop in.
