Well, let’s just start out by saying, «Hey, it’s Pizza Hut.» That means different things to different people, but to me it means mediocre food and that’s what we received. This Pizza Hut is one of just a handful of places not far from the highway between KC and Des Moines and is likely one of the better options, but still, not exactly a gourmet experience. The hubby and I stopped in on our way home from Iowa and since we’d had pizza the night before, we both decided to go another direction. They do have a salad bar, and that would have been my first choice if it were a decent salad bar, but the options on the salad bar were pretty sparse. I ended up having a sammy that was ok, but left me wishing I’d stopped at the Subway next door. The hubby had wings and fries and he thought they were ok, but complained that the wings were too saucy. When we arrived, the place wasn’t very busy, but within about 15 minutes, it was hoppin’. With only one waitress for the entire restaurant, service slowed to a snail’s pace. I wouldn’t recommend coming here during peak hours, but if you need a snack in the mid-afternoon, probably not a bad option and it’s not far off I-35.
