The most authentic Mexican spot in Lamont. The homemade tortillas and salsas are consistently fresh and delicious. My go to is a gordita de adobada. The service is solid even at peak hours.

I’d seen this place many times and always wonder if it’d be worth trying. Finally one Sunday decided to checked it out with the family. It turns out it’s a very welcoming environment, we were greeted the very second we entered by a couple of employees. The place is small but as a starting business I’m sure they’ll get a bigger spot because not only they have and outstanding customer service but they also have some of the most delicious Mexican cuisine I’ve had in my life. Their food is fresh, it is very flavorful, their serving portions are just right. In other words I’ll go back to this place very soon and if you find yourself in the Lamont area check this place out. You won’t regret it.

Very nice little restaurant. The staff here is very friendly. The hand made tortillas are awesome, and the salsas… if you like hot… the red salsa is it.

This restaurant is amazing! Small and intimate. They really make you feel like family. Owners are friendly and staff are very friendly. Everything is hand made. Tortillas, meats, and salsas. And they are on display for you to watch as they prepare it. The tortillas alone are legendary. You can taste the authenticity. Their slogan is «the best from my town.» They do not disappoint. If anything they make it resonate even louder. I’d give more stars if I could.

Pretty satisfying. I’ve had this insane craving for gorditas but not very many taco spots make them. I came by chilate while working in Lamont because my sister and brother say it’s really good. Luckily they do make gorditas! I tried the carne asada ones and chicharron. The carne asada was very tasty not bland like a lot of taco joints. The only thing lacking was a really good salsa. Other than that I would recommend. The gorditas are huge too which made sense of the look she gave me when I ordered 3. Clearly I couldn’t eat the 2nd or 3rd gordita (shared with my sister and uncle). Add on an enchilada plate (for my grandma) and the total came out to under $ 17. The chicharron gordita wasn’t bad, I would have liked some chunks of pork in there but still I would come back here again.

Had a carne asana burrito, it was pretty good. Filling but it wasn’t as yummy as I hoped. Husband had a combo plate and was given fresh handmade tortillas. The rice is nice and fluffy, and the ladies there are very nice. The in-​laws love this place, hot fresh food. I would recommend but I think it varies from plate to plate. I think its funny that the tables and chairs were still there from the previous tenant, subway.
